  2. at EW's early access tho, it was hard to make the pre-purchase. it just wouldn't accept my card for a while. when it did finally accept, i got given the pre-purchase code without paying, and only got charged when we got the second code.

  14. I've been playing since 1.0 (and played XI before then back in the day). I still dread having to go to the mog station, why does the early access system have to be do crappy

  16. Just to make sure I followed, this is my first Xpac launch, and I'm a bit unsure if I understood all that. ^^;

    I've put in the code for Dawntrail awhile back, I have the earing and the minion, but that doesn't mean that I have Early Access on my account?
    I need to look for an Email Today/Tomorrow with a new code which needs to be entered to gain early access,
    but then later on in the week, there will be a second code to gain full access to the expansion on the official launch date…?

    This sounds, super weird and overcomplicated, so I kind of assume I'm misunderstanding something. ^^;

    .. But also, the fact the portrait system is the way it is, I wouldn't put it past them to over complicate this process into a multi phase mess like that, lol

I am not a content creator so I don't need to be diplomatic about this; All of their websites, every single one, not just FF14's, but all websites under the Square Enix umbrella, look like something I'd have made back in 2007 using Adobe Dreamweaver. It's fucking embarrassing and that's the nicest thing I can say about it.

  18. I dont really get it, im playing from Steam, already put in my preorder code to get my earrings, etc. ingame. Do i have to wait for another code to get via steam or am i fine?

  23. Yes they have been doing this nonsense since FFXI. There you have a game account, a SE account, and content ID. Part of playing the game is to get your account activated.
