I agree with Scholar. I've been playing since the start of shadowbringers, and it's always been wonky.
Bard, i disagree that its dots feel out of place. Only 3 or 4 classes dont have dots, and at least one of Bards' dots makes sense. After all, why wouldn't you poison your arrows.
But yeah, it doesn't really feel like you're playing songs, so the Bard element of Bard isn't there.
As far as Paladin feeling like Paladin, it does by Final Fantasy standards.
It can heal and has holy magic spells, which is historically what separates Knight and Paladin in final fantasy.
Paladin is just Knight with heals and holy.
Perhaps it needs a new name, but the feel is consistent for ff.
I must be one of 5 people who likes Dragoon as it is.
And im sorry to say, we were never gonna get the real Sage. Sage is what happens when Red Mage injects sterioids and liquified essence of Chuck Norris into all of its pores and orifices.
And while it makes sense that a class associated with Sharlyan would be called Sage, I will say making it the ideal RP for Nu Gundam stans or anyone who watched 'Char's Counterattack ' is an odd choice.

monk so far has been the hardest class for me atleast, it's fun when you get it right but holy shit I do not understand when to use stuff like brotherhood for example, plus I have to time my perfect balances JUUUST right so I don't lose my twin snakes buff or my demolish, it is insane, I don't hate the class but it feels like if I blink for a nanosecond I might aswell just press the leave button and never return
then again, the class does inevitably get faster and faster skill speed wise so hopefully this'll be less of an skill issue for me
I hate playing bard, i just want to be an archer, group members getting pissy because i dont refresh the song spells like ever damn 20seconds for those buffs feels like when your gf pesters you to shuffle the MP3 song playlist in middle of the track
Our favorite vertically challenged sass blaster is back. 😁. Can't say I blame you for the shot at the bard. When they released Dancer as a class, they missed an opportunity to have synergized skills with the two. And you nailed it.on the head regarding song use. The sheer number of bards in lvl 90 content not using songs is staggering.
