  1. i should explain how the que algorithm works for those who do not know..

so the way it prioritizes people and places them in que is it runs thru a system of checks.
firstly checking that you are on a "registered account" then it will go thru the next check of are you a continued/paying customer or a newly created one/free trial, after which it establishes a connection too your isp sending data between it and SE's host server for FFXIV which then sends to the data center server.

Now if you pass the check of registered account and a paying customer YOU are automatically given priory in the wait line but so too are about 1k others just like you give or take depending on how popular your server an or region currently is, meanwhile newly created accounts and free trial get shoved to the very back of the line. and then as the system continues its checks and filter all that out you get pushed forward in the line.
now as for the crash or error code 2002 what that is trying to say to you and everyone else that was in that line is that 1. there is too much overload of data being processed and 2. the misread script causes a glitch which force logs out everyone involved then reboots to try again in a few seconds. and this process will continuously happen as many times as is needed until the que is cleared and it runs smoother again

  2. I have been blessed by god this launch because I was there right as it got released and was in queue around 227ish. Got in before all my FC mates and then later that day wanted to change to bun boy then had a queue of 600+! Then today got on around 10am and was 26th in queue and didn’t leave until just now before bed 🙏🤞let’s hope it stays that way for me!! Oh and not a single error or disconnect!!

  3. Thing is, once you get inside it is surprisingly smooth. No lag, never had problem with not finding the quest target due to crowd around it, never kicked out of solo duty due to too many instances. Sure I read a whole novel and did all my chores while waiting, but the actual game experience has been smooth as butter. For me anyway. Hopefully for everyone else as well.
