  1. On one hand, the difference is definitely there, but on the other hand, is a 5% difference too much between NIN and RPR when the game has almost no DPS checks anyway, even at min ilvl?

I'd like for the difference between the lowest DPS class and the highest DPS class to be no greater than 10%, but right now it's ~13-14%, so it's kinda bad.

I tend to think "if I can take the worst dps classes in each category, put them into a party together, and then take that party into the highest level content and still make it through before seeing the last quarter of the enrage bars, it's probably fine", but I wonder if that holds up in DSR… haven't tried it enough to know.

  2. they need to change their philosophy on how jobs dish out dmg, which jobs can do massive dmg and which ones shouldnt deal alot of dmg. Theres many ways they can do this, for one if a range job who can have uptime all the time is to do less dmg than a melee and a caster can be above or mid way depending on their casting and insta cast then just have ranged jobs just all be support jobs like a new role. BRD buffs the whole party with small dmg, DNC can buff individual players like a max of 2/3 with a decent size (or just the other 3 dps in the party).and then let MCH buff parties thru some mit and some heals or just whatever. All still bringing something but supports the team in a different way.
OR just let melee jobs have a basic 1-2-3 combo from range so its an excuse to buff the dmg of the range jobs to be in par with the melee jobs. so now they all can fight in range and its just about playstyle
