I wish I would of known this b4 I bought the game. Cause if the confusion about buying it. The error I made will cost me more 🙁 . I originally bought starter edition and preordered endwalker, not realising that I be locked out of some content until Endwalker release date. I'm in process of getting refund for preordering Endwalker. I need that refund in order to buy current content and save money to preorder again. I hope I don't get banned for not being able to preorder Endwalker again.

The complete addition comes with 30 days game time does the shadow bringer dlc come with any? It doesn't mention it on the PlayStation store.

I'd heard upgrading from the Free Trial was a little confusing, so I'm grateful for an online guide.
My experience was slightly different from what Brian shows, though.
The complete edition was auto-selected and at no point have I had to enter any codes, so far.
Maybe when it's finished downloading…? I'll update this post if so.
I don't think it was mentioned in the guide, but there is a slightly cheaper sub option for having just 1 character per world. Am I missing something here? I don't need more than 1 toon, do I?

What about the Upgrade via Mog Station option? Any info on that route? I've only seen one comment on reddit they said it works and upgrades to Complete Edition. No more keys to register. Looking at the actual page, it shows "to use Crysta" so not sure if going that route only accepts Crysta.

Really, I only have one question: Do you get some game time along with your purchase of each edition? Because, whenever I checked online, answers made it quite confusing. Some said that yes, that the game would come with 30 days of free game time; others said yes but only for fresh new accound with no editions registered (counting the free trial as a standalone edition); and simply, no. Thus, if I may ask, which is it?
complete edition is showing 39.99 EUR and starter edition is showing 9.99 EUR for me, did they discount the game further? here is the text from the order page "
