Having played courtesan characters before, the best FCs for them tend to be on the Crystal data center. Most clubs will host one or two evenings a week with dancing, text performances matched to emotes, and date auctions. The actual sexual roleplay is not something most of the staff do, just the escorts. Much like a regular club, they will have bartenders, bouncers, musicians, etc. that are non-explicit. People seeking out explicit roleplay usually pay around 100k gil per hour, give or take, with additional fees for writing kinks beyond what the escort is used to. During my time escorting (male-male primarily, but not exclusively), I found that a majority of the clients I had were actually raiders or casual players looking to "get off." I run a very large nsfw discord server (29000 members), so this sort of thing never bothered me, but some roleplayers may find it uncomfortable knowing that their RP partner is using the erotica right then and there lol.

All i know is that if you take part in rp clubs and brothels in FXIV you can make BANK. GF has friend that's a midi bard that makes 3 mil gil AN HOUR, and people that dance and afk make somewhere around 1.5-2 mil an hour. Thats not to mention the people who are actively actually rping.

these venues are a blast to visit i'll be honest, and considering i used to work as a courtesan in game and now run a sfw venue, you meet some awesome people- both employees and clients, and make some of the best friends you could ever have in game.
its also not uncommon for hardcore raiders to come in, chill and listen to the music that maybe a bard is playing- order some raid food (should the venue offer end game dishes), and queue up for their next raid, their roulettes, dungeon, ect.

Yeah, the thing about this kind of thing is that it is in a teen-rated game, so making it a public display of any content of that nature is a bannable offense, hence the aliases and the like, in a similar manner to why mods are also bannable, particularly those of a more 18+ nature.
That said, as others likely stated here, there are many other kinds of roleplaying communities that handle mature topics (or even more slice of life style of RP) and it gets handled (mostly) with maturity and respect. In fact, there is a decently sized RP community on Omega itself. I am even a part of that community as part of my hobby (though I am lacking in Auri people – got miqo'te though!) and, even while typing this, I am farming RP gear from Sohm Al for one of my characters. If you are ever interested or curious, I can pass on a Discord link to look into it.

Honestly, ERP is great, and I don't understand the people that shit on others for doing it. There's nothing perverted or creepy about consenting adults enjoying themselves and exploring other avenues of sexual expression. I'm a long-time roleplayer, have been doing so since 2002, and ERP is certainly one of the genres of RP I enjoy. I've heard some people say "wHy DoN'T they jUST wATCH PORn?" I can't speak for anyone else but I like the interaction, and if I can find a brothel on my data center and server (Crystal/Malboro), I want to try and get in-game employment.
