  1. BLU's updates in ShB were:
    5.15 50 to 60
    5.45 60 to 70
    I'm expecting BLU to 80 in 6.45 and I don't think we'll be getting another limited job as much as I love BLU. I was a Beastmaster main in XI and Lyon is my favorite character in XIV, but I just don't see it happening any more.

  2. I still think they need to change skill acquisition and make BLU solo friendly like it was initially advertised. It really could work as great solo side content and help solo farming old content, as it is now, it feels like more of a headache than anything to get a big chunk of their abilities if you don't have a bunch of friends in game.

  3. I think they need to relax this limited job rule. So far, we have been toying around with BLU being in a group content. Especially when we had relic weapon farm. It worked out pretty well in my opinion. They should perhaps at least have a consent button to allow BLU for roulette and duty.

  4. Hope we get more BLU soon… I did like BLU when it came out (one of the few), but forced myself to play it recently so I can finish out Triple Triad (as of current patch: 100%). Take care of them teeth too! I bit into a Hot Pocket around seven months ago… tooth split, and just tasted my fillings for a couple days.

  5. no blu is 2 yr behind almost and this limited is a mess i wouldn't want any more limited at this point because they can't do anything like the other jobs to its pointless to play blue because you can stay blue like them all you really doing is lvling farm thats all no real content for thm like ff11

  6. BLU is the only fun job in PvE. They need to release it from limited status. Makes no sense to keep it where it is. And they can't make a great argument for why it is the way it is when there is a severe degree of class inbalance.

  7. It's quite possible that the answer to this is, Never. Blue mage design doc spelled out the plans for the class from levels 1 – 70. Technically blue mage is now DONE.

    It might be time for another one of the limited jobs.

    Onion Knight as a tank roll, using 100% cross class skills.
    Geomancer, Calculator, Or Beastmaster, mameteer (pupetmaster, but bots) as DPS.
    Chemist as Healer. (possibly combat alchemist)

    With a daily roulette that can only be accessed and run as an all limited party. (and THIS would be the "blue mage content" promised)

    But, lets "what if". WHAT IF we got more BLU. We're masters of the class now. There's a branch office setup halfway across the world. We've got to go even further away to find things we've not yet tapped. So teach us how to make totems to teach skills with. Give us some of the jobstones. Let us take them to the first and setup a guild there. We teach the skills and the totem making to a new guildmaster there, and in exchange we get leads on skills from the first that would be useful to us.

  8. Blue Mage needs to be made into a regular job! It can be done, they totally reworked Summoner into something awesome now! Limited Jobs need to go away forever! All jobs should start at level 20, before that we should be in the training job for the specific job!

  9. I'd like to see the limited job (hopefully jobs one day) always be ten levels below current expansion max. I'd rather blu do its own thing over them retooling it to be able to "play nice" with other jobs in roulettes. I'd like to see weird gimmick jobs as limited jobs. Like a farmer who wears gathering gear and throws crops, or just some weird off the wall stuff. Get goofy with it. I don't think they'll ever go that weird, but it would be funny. XD

  10. thats wat im trying to do too get old content unlock for blue mage then later new content after balance is good for blue mage im not trying to rush it but let use queue up in all old content i know that's not hard to do and let's see how it work out also remove the broken abilities like the deep freeze 1 shot and the % spells or better yet them spells only work in open world that's better?
