you are the only clown ive seen on this shit!
i disliked and will never sub…
LoL save me from my laughter i can’t stop
Square-Enix doin' the right thing.
Your stream is public and nobody is aking you to stream so stream sniping is legit imo and clearly it doesn't deserve a ban.
I feel like people base their whole personality on hating asmongold. It's stupid and sad. Like you really wasted hours of your life trying and failing to fick with a guy. Only to get ur shit wrecked. Like it's so funny that these people are the very thing they claim asmon is. Sad.
I'm glad he is having a good time in his video game.
Someone going to merc Asmon irl for talking all that smack haha
People who are jealous of someone's success will always show their toxic traits. That being said, the "players" in FF14 that were griefing Asmon were definitely the toxic ones. There was a buzz in the FF community to do this so that Asmon would hopefully quit early was part of the plan. Because this plan didnt happen they way they wanted they are now trying to shift the blame. Sad really.
Streamer Privilege.
People shouldn't get special treatment from GM's just because they're famous.
imagine simping for blizzard.
Were the bans permanent or temporary? If it varies, I assume it's based on severity? (Ie. Spectating vs actually doing things to the streamer)
him: people are mad that they got banned cuz they harassed me-
me: imagine logging in the game just for shits and giggle, harmless one and they got banned-
him: for 6 HOURS.
me: nvm.
I have to disagree with you on one thing: having a situation that allows you to be an asshole doesn't automatically make you an asshole. You choose to do that.
bro i am glad you are enjoying what FFXIV has to offer. it has been and still is one of my favorite mmo's.
To be fair you cannot have a "normal experience" and stream at the same time. They are mutually exclusive. That doesn't mean he should suffer unnecessarily though.
Lmao 🤣 one word pwned!
I'm glad we don't have these simple minded petty clowns in swtor.
never watched anything of this guy and yet he keeps popping up in my recommended feed
please fuck off
Yup. They got what they deserved. Consequences — it's in the TOS, you agreed to it, and unlike Blizz, the FFXIV folks want players to have fun & they enforce those rules. You harrass someone, they report you, you get the banhammer. Asmon is not getting preferential treatment; this is enforced throughout the gameworld.
People that go out of their way to ruin someone's fun, when that fun is not hurting anyone & has nothing to do with them — fuck the fuckity-fuck off, asshats.
streamsniping or not, just dont grief.
Streamers should be able to have some sort of tag on their account, that puts them (and their party) on their own instance when they play the game, so they can actually get something done instead of being followed by hundreds of idiots who think being onscreen at the same time as asmon is some kind of flex.
I’m not sure of the logistics of this idea, but I’m sure it could be achieved somehow.
Omg this is so funny
You're describing the behavior of congressmen, mr. Asmongold.
At the end of the day it is a business. Streamers bring in business. If you ruin the streamers experience while he's trying to bring in thousands of new players…..Square Enix will ruin your experience.
Jesus, stop following him around. So absolutely annoying its unreal. He was way too nice about it
I’m happy he’s enjoying the game I love so much.
It’s a shame that losers are trying to ruin his experience.
It's funny. I heard so much bad shit about Asmongold before all this happened, but I kept my opinion of him completely curtailed because I never watched his content as I never cared for WoW, etc. Now that I've spent this last month watching him run through trials, Coils, 24 mans, I've seen nothing but a likable person. Funny how the "great community" of XIV talked so much shit. XIV's community is fucking garbage. I play the game but I'm not a part of that community. All the communities of XIV, whether the playerbase, or the modding circles, they're both fucking toxic dumpsters. lol
I dont think i like anyone in this scenario. I'm not gonna lose sleep over griefers being punished for being griefers but Square Enix reacts faster to a twitch persons complaints then ethnic slurs and telling you what rule you violated two weeks ago to get a warning. Also I have little sympathy for "stream sniping" complaining in a non pvp game. Its annoying sure but if you didnt stream it people wouldnt know where you were. Yoshi himself gets mobbed everytime he goes live. Fanboys and trolls are a fact of life and if you build a brand streaming people are gonna interact with you.
This may not get seen, but my question for you is, how do you feel about people who follow along but keep a respectful distance and don't cause problems for you ?
wait so you're telling me that the devs did there job? impossible!!
jokes aside, all i can see is that the devs enforcing the ingame rules, that they as a player agreed to follow.
