Hi Gamers!
Here it is! Again! How to clear the first Crystal Tower Alliance Raid in FFXIV, The Labyrinth of the Ancients, in less than 3 minutes!
I apologise for the re-upload, but I had the honour of having a Journalism Professor in Uni who instilled in me how important it was to ‘hate to be wrong’ in writing. I couldn’t let it stand as it was.
I hope this helps you clear these raids quickly and painlessly to continue on your adventure in Eorzea!

I'm so sorry for the first upload! Despite repeated self-editing, I completely missed an issue that would have bothered me day after day, hour after hour, if I did not correct it. So, now I finally commit this guide to the ages. I hope it helps you clear Labyrinth of the Ancients, helps you feel more comfortable potentially getting it in Alliance Roulette, or helps you tangentially avoid an awkward conversation with a new player friend who insists that anything under level 60 doesn't have mechanics. 🤣 Thank you for your support, Gamers!
Honestly didn't know about the skeletons reaching the dragon, thought it was just unavoidable damage this whole time. Good Guide!
I kind of wish this alliance raid was a little harder, SB is really the peak of alliance raids for me. Also, don't burn yourself out with lots of upload, take your time, enjoy it, i kind of like this 2-3 minutes simple explanation format of a dungeon/raid.
When I was just starting out, this would have been the exact kind of guide that I needed; straightforward, easy to watch, and up-to-date, stripping out all the bloat on guides/walkthroughs from years and years ago when the raid was still current and the mechanics mattered. Great guide, I hope it helps lots of lil sprouts!
thank you for the nice quick guide!
Ty so much! Noob love for you and your videos. Keep em coming, I need all the help I can get ><
Thanks for the guide, but I think its pretty stupid that you have HAVE to do raids in order to progress the main story, Not everyone is interested in raiding.
this was really helpful, thank you!
Thank you for the quick guide. I just started and this is so helpful to REALLY know what’s going on lol
no bullshit, no filler, no nonsense, straight to the point , subs!!
This was super helpful for my first time through that, thanks so much! Subscribing!
Thanks so much for making this short, I'm about to start my first run and this saved me!!
"…and you don’t want to stand there not knowing what to do…"

As a console player unable to communicate the same as my pc teammates guides like these are invaluable, thank you!
Hey everyone,
I really need some input to set my mind straight here.
Am I the only one who thinks all of this "Era of Light" stuff should be optional content and not a requirement to progress in the main story?
I mean, in my experience right now I am running around talking to the same people over and over again, not discovering new parts of the game nor progressing with my character, gaining money or new skills.
I am queing for dungeons and raids for hours on end, which i don´t even want to do and being locked out of the main story progression ´cause i have to finish side quest line A and B before the next main quest is obtainable.
It´s frustraiting and unnerving to say the least (more than 60 QUESTS and NO noticable progression) … I am just having such a bad experience right now …
Am I doing it wrong? Am I missing something?
I enjoyed ARR so far, but this part is really putting my pacience to the test … Man, I just want to go on exploring this otherwise great game, but ffs O.o
Had anyone else feelings and experiences like this as a new player or is it just me?
The hardest thing so far seems like finding a party😅
I watched this 3 times before doing the raid, it was tremendous help!
Thank you for this video, I was kind of nervous to do this as a sprout pally. Turns out we just steamrolled all the bosses. 😂
fast and concise. thx
This was so helpful, tysm. I was so lost during my first run lol.
watching this before going my first raid , I'm nervous haha
Useful guide thanks. As a noob who somehow ended up playing a tank im mildly alarmed to have to tank a raid as part of the story
Back from years away BUT ALSO switched to gunbreaker for an extra layer of "idk what I'm doing :D"
making this post as I queue for my first time run. time to not die, maybe!
This video has been a god send thank you! I just started playing FFXIV and have been dying to get into raids. This helped so much and made my experience much better, especially as a tank and knowing where to pull the boss <3 Thank you thank you!
Thx for this, im a sprout tank so I got cold feet as soon as i read alliance raid of 24….time to jump in to queue i guess
Thanks for this! Super nervous to be headed in. Accidentally messed up the tank mechanic for the Chrysalis and now I'm extra scared of big fights lol.
