  1. Uhhh, i don't know…. 40-50 fps drop is pretty huge especially for people using lower end hardware. If anyone struggling to find "optimized" preset, i suggest you to try Ipsusu gameplay presets. They're really light and enhance so much

  2. While GShader is great for stills capture, it is hard to find a single combination that works everywhere. At minimum, one would need a dozen profiles to cover using it on live gaming sessions, and it is not convenient to be changing it manually. Which is why the real deal from SqE will be very welcome. Plus, not everyone knows how to install, configure and maintain GShader – folks want to open the game and have fun.

  3. What they described the update will do, is upscale texture resolution, improve shadows, and improve lighting(more specifically add more light sources).
Which are things that gshade cannot do,

So Gshade + the game will be able to go even higher in terms of graphics

  5. I'm using ReShade a long time now for many games, but especially in FF14 many people refer to GShade. What's actually the difference?
I always thought GShade is just a worse version of ReShade.

  6. Okay, but what are your current in-game, non-G-Shade settings? This video is pointless without that. I currently run the game in 4K on my RTX 2080, without G-Shade, and only get an average of 53fps. The graphics of this game are already extremely demanding.
