  2. I love people speculating about zero because of the cinimatic….I always just assumed she'd get the ryne treatment, much as it saddens me…ALSO….PLEASE TELL ME WE'RE TAKING RYNE WITH US THIS TIME! PLEASE DEAR GODDDDD

  3. Yoshi P does listen to players that like to think of FFXIV as a story game, but definitely not to the players who enjoy the game because it's an MMO.

  4. The lunar subterrane is the floor names underneath leading down to Zeromus in ffiv. I see those floor tiles and pillars and know exactly where we are. I wonder if the same thing that happened in ffiv will happen here with golbez. Maybe we'll fight his avatar first, and the trial is his real form.

  5. I think it would be a great addition to island sanctuary if you can choose a scion BFF to stay on your island with you. The island seemed kind of lonely with just the rude mammot.

  6. As someone who plays Alts I must say the Duty Support System is fantastic…but it's far from being able to play through the whole MSQ Solo. Way too many Trial Speed Bumps for which no one queues unless they need it for MSQ so you gotta rely on the Roulettes of others

My half-baked speculation on Zero being in the First is that she will become a strong supporting character who ends up being the reason we may eventually be able to move between the Source and the Reflections. Something about her part-shadow nature, as clearly the Ascians (at least the Unsundered) had no problems themselves bouncing between the different shards, and even made their home base in the void. Often they were seen to be using a lot of Dark aspected kind of spells. I think something about the impermanence we see in the 13th will eventually reveal to our smart kitty companion the key to shift back and forth. It might be limited at first, so only Zero can pop around due to her nature, but that might be a low-key motivation for adventures in the future; going out to glean some book or magic that might help refine Shtola's ideas. As for Zero being in the First, she's probably going to drop out of the main narrative for a while and learn stuff in the First from people we trust and that world is pretty good and safe now, for the time being.

    But I'm really just speculating out my backside here and rambling. Still, I think Zero will be important in future events even if she doesn't end up being a full-time Scion. Like a Cid Garlond, popping in when we need help with certain things (or helping her in return). But like most, I would still like it if she did join us on our regular adventures. I don't dislike Krile or anything, but she's never been especially compelling to me and her being more prominent doesn't exactly entice me. (Still, if anyone tries to hurt the popoto in the cat eared poncho they will burn ) Just personal taste I guess.

    Anyway, lots of cool stuff coming down the pipe. I am eager to see what new tidbits they release over the next year.

  11. Am I the only one disappointed by Thordan Unreal? We already got basically Thordan Ultimate. Glad they're changing how ilvl requirement works for Alliance Raid Roulette too, maybe now we won't get the ARR raids 99% of the time.

  13. YoshiP's comment about the Godbert and the Japanese Godbery joke sadly went over the interpreter's head. He was talking about how Godbert's semi-nude antics looked like the Japanese comedian "Tony" Yasumura's "Don't worry, I'm wearing underwear!" gag routine.

  16. my dream wish (let me dream), Zenos comesback and is part of Zero, like Ranma 1/2 (touches warm water, turn into guy;.. touches cold water, turns into girl) double personality/character.., that is part of the scion main-team upto and into 7.X and beyond ..
    so Zenos never really, fully dispears,.. always either having (mostly) Zero or (less often) Zenos with the scions on their new adventure..

If they arent gonna add a whole new glamour system (like what WoW has where it just saves unlocked appearences) I desperately want them to add items purchased from the mogstation to the Armoire or let us repurchase the from the calamity salvager. It feels bad that Im hesitant to buy stuff from the store because I dont know where Im going to put it… Same goes for the sets unlocked from PvP Series rewards. I kept the last set in the box for like a month because I didnt have room to store it.

  28. Zero has a few ways to get to the First, given her nature, and depending how the 13th story plays out that is something that could lead to her being a semi-regular Scion. But, I feel like she will end up like Ryne – someone we visit from time to time rather than someone that joins us as a regular.
