I think you're exaggerating. Like how is this different from other patches?
As a reminder, Rubicante told us where to find Golbez.
Since our gate from Alzadaal's Legacy was destroyed, I'm thinking we discover a way to use our moon as a void gate after the new dungeon.
As for Golbez's shadow dragon, anyone who's played FF4 saw this reference coming. As for whether or not we can still save Azdaja, we'll just have to play to find out.
