Hey team! FF14 6.1 is finally upon us and it’s time for a Newfound Adventure!
I wanted to make a video that only covers the new things, and not the typical changes we see during patches. I cover the Ishgard Housing Empyreum in detail and all of the other new stuff we are getting with this huge patch!
And it’s still a half hour long. So hopefully you find this helpful versus going over everything in this huge 6.1 patch.

  1. Thank you for doing the leg work! Great summary, super helpful. 🙂 Also sanctuaries are the safe areas you can go to outside of the major cities. Pretty much anywhere on the map you can get to w an aetheryte, like Horizon and Fanow.

  2. thanks for the break down, love listening to these videos while playing =)
    some further information on the sanctuary: place where you get the rested bonus / can log out immediately instead of waiting 20 secs. the little "moon icon" right to your exp-bar indicates if you're in a sactuary or not. if not, no icon next to the exp-bar. the game even tells you when you're entering /leaving a sanctuary in chat: You have left the sanctuary.
    You have entered a sanctuary. <- you might not see this in chat if you have disabled system messages.

  3. THANK YOU !!!! Finally someone who can confirm it's ONLY going to be lottery and not first come first serve. I've been stressing over this for weeks now since the patch notes were a bit vague imo.
