  1. Y’shtola showing her less dignified side this patch was a treat. Even if she threatens to kill you for poking fun at her it’d be worth it.
And Vrtra is baby. Doesn’t matter if he’s a thousand year old dragon, he is baby X3

  2. I love how Y’shtola always comes across as some scholarly and learned and serious person but deep down she’s a huge fucking dork like the rest of us.

The reaction where you say nothing is really funny as well. You just continue to stare dumbfounded at her and she gets even more flustered and embarrassed, begging you to try and forget what you just saw. 😂

  3. I know it's supposed to be a heartwarming moment, but if you think about it, Vrtra basically just said "Alright guys, I'm gonna be playing VR chat in my office for the next few weeks. You're in charge for now, so don't bother me. Alright see ya."

  4. One of the things i've been enjoying about post ew msq is just how much Nidana is around. I enjoyed her in main msq but was like "well shes more just a local npc that we talk to" so i fully expected her to just be forgotten about in post msq, yet here she is getting new voicework and plot relevency, and many cute scenes aside. Love when she first meets Zero in 6.2, and how she says how adorable shtola was in here.

  5. Considering how touched you were feeling about all the talk of family, I kind of feel bad bringing this up. In the original ff6, do you remember the "pet" Golbez called? I have a real bad feeeling.

  6. I thought this was an incredibly strong first patch to an expansion, especially considering that the main storyline had ended and they were starting a completely new thing. Y'shtola has been absolutely killing her time on screen pretty much ever since Ishikawa took over writing for her in Stormblood and she always seems to get these scenes where her actual personality gets to show through. The only thing to me that's crazier than how good this patch was is how good the 6.2 MSQ was because HOLY SH*T they got me incredibly excited for this whole void arc. I figured the structure of this expansion would mirror that of 2.0 and so far that seems to be the case which means that this story-line may actually conclude by the end of 6.4 if not necessarily in 6.5 which is apparently when we're supposed to learn about where the next expansion will be taking us.
