I've ran with statics most of the SB/EW but these last two tiers I've been PFing as a healer. I've come to notice that obviously in a PF standpoint it's hard to organize healing and be "on-the-go" but I've felt that a good healer at least my definition of a good healer is able to create a very consistent baseline of buff/mitigation rotations that will fit any niche of healer without it being too overhealy(this is not a word). Obviously in an organized setting it's a lot easier to do so because you have hopeful consistency of a co-healer but it's not impossible in PF either – all it really comes down to is just knowing/learning your class thoroughly and knowing/learning fights thoroughly which unfortunately isn't a commonality.
Funny thing is Cole, the drama is not about elitism but favoritism. If it's elitism Dice, the co-healer that didn't want to communicate won't be on the party at all xD. People mad about the drama is because the amount of gaslighting from that static group towards their most productive healer.
The thing about damage chart is that I know it will cause toxicity, but I wanna know how much damage I do. As a Scholar main, its really hard to determine whether or not I am doing damage correctly. Or at least enough.
Like I only know I am at least some form of damage is if I in 7th place on the aggro chart.
Only works if you're in a static or you know your co-healer. If you're pugging, then I think it's safer to just treat it as if you're solo healing 😛

I'm still new at end game raiding, just got into my first static for this tier. But I have felt the difference between getting a good CO healer and not vibing with one. It is a world of difference. Still got lots to learn but it was nice hearing your thoughts on it. Take care you two

Samurais aren't probably the ones to talk about @ 15:00 though. Good SAMS have to cast third eye (which only has a 4 second window) for every incoming damage for the 10 kenki=100 potency every time if not on CD. Thus we usually will consider feint whenever there's a raidwide since we will also put down third eye for the damage alone.
If you ask me logs should be looked at if you do the fight perfect and still hit enrage. And if you play with someone that wants a 99 log while prog then RUUN!! I have played with that type of person before and it's shit!
I'll DPS as much as I can but I'll not use sleep over a GCD and I'm not using Assize like abilities on CD. They are healing tools first, DPS second. People need to take a chill pill. Honestly, you should loose all damage abilities the second you join a party. Problem solved. People cannot deal with a calculator. It's sad.
