First, you mount up. Then you figure out where you need to go in the quest; be it teleporting or moving two yalms away. Then you teleport, forget that you’re mounted, dismount and then stare stupidly before mounting back up.

On my first character, a Highlander Red Mage, I leveled Conjurer to 30 and got her that unicorn mount just because I thought she'd look pretty splendid riding it with her all-red clothing. I was right; she did look great.
On my second character (who I created because I'd been away from the game for so long I'd forgotten how to play), I was trying to do different things and have different experiences. But she's a Midlander, and I found out that female Midlanders ride sidesaddle on some mounts. That sounded really cool to me! I figured the Conjurer unicorn is probably one of those sidesaddle mounts, so I went ahead and got it for this new character, too. Yep, she does indeed ride sidesaddle on it. Yay! I really like her super-girly running animation, and her sidesaddle riding style on that unicorn. She's so cute.
