  1. “Who could have predicted this”

Uh anyone that got proper sleep lol. It was pretty obvious it was Zenos that showed up and talked to Krile.

Also this was painted on the walls since Yoshi P started sharing Endwalker info. He literally showed us a picture of the Scions and zenos was included in the mix for the promo art.

That was a huge red flag that Zenos would do anything for his moment with us, including becoming temporary allies.

Sleep my dude, you missed so much to gorge on this content as fast as you could.

  3. Kinda triggered you didnt walk through all the shadows on the final walk, lol.

Really happy for all these new players discovering this amazing game, but for those of us who have been living in this world for 8+ years…. wow.

  5. When you theory craft your way out of getting the feels but stil succumb to them.

Good reaction Quazi. I think that at the end of Ultima Thule we summoned Emet and Hytholodaeus because we didn't have the answer to the way forward and they were all we could think of. The two friends that our soul has known since before the sundering.

  6. "Forge ahead" has so many meanings. Not only have we lost everyone and must push on, but their sacrifices literally created the road ahead.

Also, Alisae's VA absolutely nailed it. This expansion and last.

  7. Merry Christmas Quazii hope you're having a great holiday!

I'm surprised Quazii! You said you cant relate to any thing Zenos said because you enjoy raiding and technical mechanics in all sorts of fight. The way I took it was that he was talking to you the character and you the player, controller of all actions the character does. He wasnt talking to the hero of eorzea but to you.

To me I was being called out for being a degenerate raider, S rank hunter, and fate camper lol. There was no higher calling to doing it like saving the land or anything like that though we can say logically thats what we want its more that will come while I'm doing this thing that will get me loot. Pleasure and Suffering from the grind itself!

  8. Im so glad that you thought the same thing about the finally fight with Zenos. I was watching the weakened punches going back and forth and the talking while just laying there was totally just like Naruto.

  9. Thank you for taking me on this emotional journey with you through Endwalker. Whilst my plan is to wait for the new year to restart my Final Fantasy adventure, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your playthrough.

  10. Final boss at universe end throwing planets at you… If this is not the most final fantasy thing that has ever final fantasied, LOL
btw, the Ul'dah song is because you started there as a gladiator, I had that suspect and asked a friend that confirmed she had the Gridania theme

  11. When i saw the scenes of the capital cities watching the ragnarok return, i was trown back the when the same few character saw me off on my very first airship ride as the envoy of ul'dah all the way back at like level 15… that feel like a lifetimes ago….

Also i find it funny how emet selch to us to remember them all the while he was the one who forgoten us😆

As for meteon being the final boss as sonn as i met her in elpis i had my doubt that she would be important later on but didnt think she would be the final boss

For the mystery associate of the scions, for some reason i thought it was Gosetsu… i dont know why tough, his name just came up in my head…

Endwalker was such an amazing expantion that i wonder how they could make the next one not feel bland but if anyone can do it, its them!

  12. Thru this entire final zone, knowing how close we were to the end of this journey, and I knew they gave us the out early on. I couldn't discount the idea that instead of killing one or two Scions, they would kill them all. Each goodbye was so final, so pure and left no loose threads. I wasn't completely convinced they would live until they did.

  13. Going along with you on your journey through XIV has been amazing :3 Here's to the next leg of our journey as a simple adventurer XD

Also, you need to set aside some time to try and find your scion friends in the world. 😀 I found all of them including a few of the side-scions. It's fun to see what they're all up to.

  14. so many details , some funny as hell (the Ragnarok pilot asleep in half the cutscenes because he's a narcoleptic bunny), some utterly poignant ("just once, stay with us to the end !"). but the best, strongest part of Endwalker will always be, to me, becoming Meteion's friend. the person she needs, the person she trusts. the one who can talk to her, share her feelings and thoughts, hold her hands in a field of flower, and comfort her when everything else is dark. it took us ages, aeons even, to find her again, but we did, and now it's gonna be ok :3

  15. Oh god I still end up crying so much even though I've finished the expansion. The scenes are just too damn good. So much heartache and yeh catharsis ever so beautiful and heart warming. Shadowbringers was pretty damn good but they used it as a stepping stone for the greatest finale of the game. I am so glad to be able to go on a journey as Hydaelyn's chosen and be part of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.

  16. The Ultima Thule msqs were ridiculously out of this world, literally and metaphorically. From pain aftee pain from losing our friends to hearing familiar voices to veing reunited with Emet and Hythlodaeus and then the final dungeon and trial with epic and legendary cut scenes and laslty the fight with Zenos. So much hype on top of each other. Such a rolleecoaster ride of epic proportions. I dont have the words to justify how great this expansion is.

ALSO being a smol Lalafell having a fist fight with Zenos was ridiculously hilarious. Lala supremacy!

  17. Quazii, here's your new single-target Lvl 90 rotation as a PLD (the simplified version, not counting oGCD's or defensives).

    Fast B. > FoF > Riot B. > Goring B. >
    Fast B. > Riot B. > Requiescat > Royal Auth. > Atone x3 >
Fast B. > Riot B. > Goring B. (FoF falls off- exactly enough time left on Requiescat for the following…) >
Holy Spirit x4 > Confiteor > B. of Faith > B. of Truth > B. of Valor (DoT applied just as Goring DoT falls off) >
    Fast B. > Riot B. > Royal Auth. > Atone x3 > REPEAT

As for the AoE rotation, this is what I've found works best.

    FoF > Total Eclipse > Prominence >
(at 15s remaining for FoF) Requiescat >
REPEAT (until FoF falls off- exactly enough time left on Requiescat for the following…) >
Holy Circle x4 > Confiteor > B. of Faith > B. of Truth > B. of Valor (DoT applied to all mobs) >
Total Eclipse > Prominence (until FoF is ready) > REPEAT

I also noticed you don't have Intervention on your hotbar. This is an incredibly strong ability that should not be overlooked, especially with the 6.0 buffs it recently received.

  18. I've honestly never liked Zenos, I've thought of him as shallow and annoying to the point where I don't even think about him by his name but by ''Mr Cant-take-a-hint McI'm-just-not-that-into-you Esq''. So when Alisaie scolded him I wanted to tell him that his plan would never work, harming my friends would not give him what he wanted. BUT if he helped us avert the final days I would give him the fight of his life, I'd go all in because of the joy I felt of my friends being safe.

And then at last he did the very thing I wanted from him so I picked option 1 not for the reason he thought but rather as my thank you to him. For once, he done good, he made me happy, he can has fighty cheezburger.

In the end the writers damn well did it again, made me feel for an absolute bastard of a character and wanting to give them something back to make them a bit more happy too. I hope it worked, I hope he died at least a little more fulfilled than he lived.

  19. Kind of sad that you were too tired to check the "Endwalker" buff text as you were walking to the end, and to see the text of some of the remnants of the past, but it was an absolutely incredible adventure!
