It's actually easier to cry on repeated viewings, that's the trap. Because rather than being at all confused and uncertain what's even going on, you can sit in that moment – the WoL wanting so badly to summon back the Scions, knowing it's doom to do so, and the train of thought that leads to the solution of summoning Hythlo and Emet. Also the flowers were ingenious
EDIT: you also catch details like the last of Venat's magic fading as you hear her voice – that's the last time you'll be resurrecting anyone with the Azem crystal
