  4. Will have to say though, I'm kind of iffy we didn't get that much remixes such as an remix of Heroes for Dragon King Thordan, or any such other themes to be remixed as they seem to be their original renditions.

  28. This truly is the darkest timeline when you think about it.

    From what I was able to glean from the story beats of the alternate timeline, saving Haurchefant meant we as the WOL didn't have to drive to pursue Thordan as hard as we did originally. Meaning that he got to the key first (and probably absorbed Bismarck too, also preventing us from awakening and regaining our blessing of light possibly), got into Azys Lla unopposed, absorbed the warring triad before taking the technology found there to enslave Hraesvelgr and temper his and Nidhogg's brood (it's also possible they absorbed the aether in Lahabrea and Igeyorhm too). Then by sparing Thordan (which you must do to get to the end of the ultimate) we allow Estinien to get taken by Nidhogg whom takes his brother what remains of their broods to attack Ishgard. We're forced to kill poor old Hraesvelgr with Nidhogg, and then Thordan comes back again to absorb both their sets of eyes to become Dragonking. With the power of the Warring Triad, 2 Great Wyrms and quite possibly Bismarck and 2 ascians. Meanwhile if the WOL didn't push themselves in other instances their blessing is still sealed, but they must and do succeed in defeating Thordan.

    The peace between man and dragon will never prevail without Hraesvelgr to keep it. Hell most of their brood alongside Nidhogg's would probably have to be eradicated after we defeat Thordan since he probably tempered so many of them.

    If Ilberd was still given the dragon's eyes there's a chance he was given Hraesvelgr's eyes as well, which could potentially mean Omega wouldn't be able to destroy Shinryu who'd go and lay waste to Garlemald, this is even worse if Zenos catches Shinryu still.
    If Omega falls then when the 8th Umbral Calamity comes Cid and Nero won't have any idea on how to traverse the interdimensional rift to the 1st, meaning G'raha can't go back in time to save the WOL and Norvrandt.
    And even if by some miracle we get all the way to the Endwalker story (maybe Lopporits got involved earlier at Venat's behest or something to help Cid and Nero) would Vrtra trust the scions after their failure and slaughter of the Dravanian hoarde? Hell without Azys Lla would Alisaie have the data needed to cure tempering?! Would we have been able to compete against Lunar Bahamut without Tiamat to aid us?
    So many pieces fall out of line if Haurchefant lives, a tragic but necessary death.
