  1. The archipelago on that treasure map really looks like the Philippines. Like Niniri said, Indian influence was really strong there as well as in most of the rest of Southeast Asia. In what's modern day western Malaysia and Indonesia there was a nation called Srivijaya that had strong cultural ties to India and was known for being a multiethnic empire, a middle point for sea commerce, and generally known for its prominence in trade and seafaring instead of military power or possessing a lot of territory — all pretty similar to Thavnair.

  2. The new big bad is gonna have other sibling dragon in myrisidia for the next expansion and to finish this expansion we are gonna do all the things emet-selc said in the ending with finding out the last msq patch the troubles in myrisidiathink that would be awesome

  3. I think it was Mr Happy's analysis that he pointed out the dungeon enemies are from FFXI, including the boss with the shields and lasers. As I have little knowledge of FFXI, I'll defer to those that do, but something like FF11 has an underwater dungeon that had something to do with the original followers of Alexander (the way he talked, it made me think of the PERSON who was the origin of the Alexander myth). I'm not sure how much there is to go off of that, but maybe some of you have experience with FFXI and can shed more light on the matter.
