ive told a couple friends who are thinking to try this game to take there time and let the story build but if you HAVE to be at cap then sure use a skip but use new game plus and experience the story.
Buying a story skip would a fine option, but in with EW the skips are gonna be like 100$, which is fckin insane… + it doesnt even lvl you so add in 20 more if you wanna play with ur friends. + buying the game thats like 200$ to get in with ur friends.
You said how many more years you can game. Well I am 70 and still play ffxiv every day. I will admit not at the same level I used to but luckily I can still enjoy playing most content

Honestly, it's a good thing that some people spent their time in GPose and others ran around the dungeon and cities. If everyone explored the same stuff then there isn't much point to watching videos from different creators.
The reason why I'm sub'd to multiple channels is because they all cover the game from a different angle so to speak.

The best exemple of that is the summoner rework, it looks flashy but the game-play is mind numbingly boring.
