  1. Manderville quest is like if ARR lasted for 8 years and then suddenly endwalker drops. That’s how much my enjoyment of the manderville quest story skyrocketed

  2. It's been crazy watching FFXIV content creators lately, at least the usual suspects that have been doing it for a long time. Everyone just seems so…unamused and just scraping for any kind of new info. EW has broken a lot of long time players it seems.

    At this point, I can't wait for Fanfest and 7.0. I've been around since 3.0 and have witnessed a few lulls but man, this one just seems rougher than the others.

  3. Post-Endwalker content continues to disappoint. I haven't been this turned off by the game since the early Heavensward patches, honestly. But they'll just hide behind the "We want you to play other games" line and continue to churn out half assed content while players continue to eat it up.

  4. It's funny that you just did a retrospective about patch 3.1… Because the entire 6.x patch cycle has been nothing but me wanting to have a reason to log in and play, and the game just not giving me one.

    Given that 6.5 is going to drop sometime in Sept/Oct, I'm having serious concerns about the game being able to survive the content drought until 7.0… And I haven't felt that way about the game since HW.

  5. I’m hella enjoying the V&C content, I cleared the first one wish more people would do the savage though because I want to get the frame kit 😭 no one ever queues up for it

Not being able to limit break shouldn't be relevant to SoS—the BLU spell "Diamondback" gives even higher damage reduction than tank LB3 does, that's how BLUs live through Alexander's mandatory tank LB3, so BLUs shouldn't have any trouble surviving WoL's LB4 unless the fight is for some reason hard coded to require a tank LB3 as opposed to high damage reduction.

  7. Know what? I'd love for Blue Mage to get a limit break, but it's all the LBs at once. First the Healer LB3 to bring everyone back from the dead, then give everyone immense damage mitigation, before smiting the boss and everyone around it by dropping Dalamud on them.

    On a more balanced note, I would say give every spell an attribute of Tank, Heal, DPS. Whichever skills you have the most of equipped determines what your LB is.

  8. No mount (they put it on the cash shop), less spells and carnivale stages than last time, and they can't even do certain trials in the expac that just got unlocked to them. BLU was so half-assed this patch.
