Crafting in Final Fantasy XIV is Unlike Any Other MMORPG

Final Fantasy XIV has the most unique, advanced, and rewarding crafting system I’ve ever seen in an MMORPG. It is literally a game within a game. Each crafting discipline is a separate Class with their own main and off-hand tools, body gear, and quest line. The complexity of crafting in FFXIV can be intimidating, but once you get into it, you’ll be pretty self-sufficient, and you’ll be able to make a log of gil. Gil, which is necessary for the real End Game of FFXIV… Housing!

  1. As someone who plays FF14 and was recommended this video, I was hoping you went over how the other games craft compared to 14. A lot of people say that the crafting is great compared to others but never knew how exactly

  2. Hey, the "class system" is not armoury system, it's called "job system" and it dates back to ancient times of Final Fantasy V, where you could also change jobs of the playable characters whenever you wanted.

  3. Your title reminded me of Free Realms all of a sudden and how you could interactively craft in that game. I remember filling up molds and hammering them out and doing an entire minigame. It wasn't like crafting rotations we have in 14 and not nearly as deep but MAN that was the stuff back then.
