“Strayborough Deadwalk” is probably one of the most frustrating dungeons with the most annoying bosses in the entirety of FFXIV. I hate it. Love the music in it though!
“Court Jesters”, or “Jesters of the Moon” was originally Zorn and Thorn’s theme from Final Fantasy 9. I did a cover of it on this very same channel many years ago (link down below!), and I have been wanting to do an updated version of it for a while now. So Final Fantasy 14 coming out with this beautiful re-arrangement of the theme became the catalyst for me to finally do it.
This new cover is inspired by the FF14 version of Court Jesters, which sounds a bit different from the original. It’s slower, and it’s got a different kind of jaunty rhythm going on, which to be honest I kinda prefer over the original. I just feel like it’s more fun to play and comes more naturally to me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did playing it!
