There is a workaround to using the enter key checkbox instead of the separate hotkey command. You can add a few trailing whitespaces after the command in the text field and that will guarantee that the full command is written out before it hits enter and it won't affect the command itself (xiv will disregard any whitespace at the end of a command). I think this method instead of the separate hotkey action does make execution a tad faster since Elgato builds in a certain amount of latency between each action but otherwise either method will still do the job at the end of the day.

You gotta have "Enable direct chat" box ticked in game on keybinds for this in the video to work. Otherwise you gotta add one return infront of it all.
