You're missing the point. EW content has no staying power unless it's raids. This wasn't true for any of the previous expansions, regardless of anyone's opinions on the content in question. This isn't a "pre-expansion lull" thing. It started in like 6.2 and has only gotten worse. People finally bringing attention to this issue is a good thing. They're not complaining for complaining's sake. Shutting down valid complaints with "go play something else" does nothing for anyone just like Shadowbringers/Endwalker babies telling everyone how much stuff there still is to do for them.
I can't take a break because of my house! < So? Bad investment happened. Just move on. Do you like paying REAL money to keep digital house + making your life more miserable?
I only play because I want to hangout with my FC! < Do you have Discord?
WoW and other MMOs that utilize fomo tactics to keep subs rolling have absolutely brainrotted a ton of the userbase. These people with semi-liquified brains cannot comprehend the idea that you play an MMO for a period, then leave and come back when more content releases.
I think criticizing a game you enjoy is fine. I don't believe that those who are suffering from burnout or discontent are only glorifying their experience for drama sake. There is rationality to what they deem to be missteps, and vocalizing concerns is how a game becomes better.
However, it's still a hard balance. I think your own measured 'just play another game if you're burned out/bored' is pretty rational too. It's easier to feel burned when you are constantly trying to keep the same flame alive. These burnout people want to be passionate like you do but feel like it's getting harder and harder to justify it. Therefore, they seek solace through voicing their opinions. Perhaps they believe if they are rectified, the passion will ignite again.
Now I'm just some guy on the internet– but I think there is a trickling down effect with EW that is becoming more prominent. You see it in the introduction of Trust Duties, job classes becoming more homogenized (2 minute burst windows anyone?), etc. The game IS becoming more streamlined, and I think this is an intended path from the devs. They know a few or more disgruntled vets can always be replaced by excitable newcomers who will feel these changes do not affect them. They are tailoring the game more and more towards accessibility, which in itself is not bad, but you have to look at it from their perspective: what they enjoy about the game may be left behind for a new audience.
I think the best course of action is to pick and choose various perspectives and form your own conclusion.
U mean that obnoxious video from a certain bun? That was made to get back engagement from the 14 community after a short hiatus to genshin? I respect the content grind I guess.
As someone who "just" started around 2 years ago (some months before Endwalker) I totaly agree.
Yes when you have played the FF14 from the beginning or so the current state of the game might seem empty and boring but then just play something else. And I also get a feeling that some of those complainers forget a MAJOR thing. Endwalker was in final planning and developement during Covid when everything was restricted and nobody knew when things are going back to normal. I bet this had a major influence on the roadmap for this expansion so I would totally understand if Yoshi-P and his team decided to go a little slower and dont do something like Eureka. Or maybe they already started working parallel on the graphic update which is also something that "kills" and eats a ton of resources. We dont know.
The people who throw away that type of complaint are often the people who have a bunch of content to do but don't want to for whatever reason. You can't say there is nothing to do when you haven't cleared Savage, the Ultimates, Extremes — all current and older — Criterion, EO… Hell I bet the vast majority of players in the game right now have not cleared the Bahamut raids synced. Don't like the raiding aspect? So much other things to do… Bozja, Eureka, Island Sanctuary, Gardening, crafting all the recipes, The Hunt, GATES…
There isn't a lack of content, just a lack of content you wanna do.
It's just the usual cycle of doom and gloom to hype. We're at the end of the expansion, so there's an inevitable dip. Even if we had had 5 Bozjas, that dip would still be there because it's inherent to video games and expansion development.
Anyway, controversy makes money. Validating people's cynicism about the state of the game makes money. Validating people's excitement when we see more new expansion footage makes money. Clickbait and feeding into vocal (minor or major) sentiment has always been fairly lucrative, and for the XIV community especially, it's recently been a very, very ubiquitous phenomenon.
The WoW community has had the same thing for a few years now, so I guess it was only a matter of when, not if, before the XIV community adopted it. It was kind of just unavoidable. Also, the vocal contingent of XIV players have to be for the most part some of the most jaded, horribly nitpicky and petulant people I've ever seen. I can't wait until all the people shitting on criterions segue to crying about how the game is dead and YoshiP is ruining the game, getting getting rid of all the good stuff and sapping the soul and enjoyment out of it when we have an exploratory zone in 8.0 but criterions are omitted. It feels like they only care about having a thing when they don't have it.
FFXIV players really are an anomaly. I've played WoW for 15 years, I've gone through so many content draughts for the "top MMO of the world" that it's unreal. Like, I understand the need for constructive criticism – but this weird take that unless you rant about how you have nothing in the game to do, the developers will never put anything in, and vice versa, if you are content with what you have, there will NEVER be more and game will die is just… exhausting.
Four months between a major patch is not a content draught – especially in a game where you can progress past expansion content normally. This cannot be stressed enough – NO MMO aside from maybe GW2 allows you to just hop into the past content on your retail character and just do it normally. Hell, even doing older content from the baseline expansion can be tricky without gathering a group specifically for this.
And sure, I've heard complaints that, oh, the savage PF is dead and all… but like, do these players realize that this is the state for the ENTIRE REST OF THE GAME in every other MMO? WoW only wants you to do the current content, the current little quest hub they added, nothing else. Older expansion dungeons and quests are not just easy, it's solo autoattack content that you can't ever see the mechanics of even if you take all your gear off and punch the boss barefisted and naked. In WoW, you have absolutely no way to experience any of the old content if you missed it, maybe classic aside (but even that has its limits). You missed it? Well tough, it's an abandoned amusement park now.
And sure, sitting in an hour long queue for Void Ark if you're doing it now might suck. But that's still super duper fast in comparison of trying to do BfA's Uldir raid from baseline expansion when the game is currently in it's second content patch – crickets. "Ohh man, the PvP queues are so long, nobody does it" meanwhile in WoW, a 20min queue has ever been the norm if your faction is more populated on the server and the queue is bottlenecked by the lower numbers of the opposite faction. On and on…
Like yeah, I've heard the caveat that if you're a new player, you just don't "get" why Endwalker patch content is bad, that you have two years of content upon content to do and you'll not get bored until after that. To this I have to ask only one thing – what other MMO offers even nearly close to that for a new player? Like, not just dead amusement parks of content to wander through and think "hmm I wonder how this place looked like in its peak", but actual content that feels current to you as you play through it, a story that feels current to you based entirely on your progression through it, raids where you can do them in any order and feel the progression through them thanks to the scaling…
Maybe it's just me being the equivalent of someone from a working class neighbourhood stepping into the nice gates suburb and just not understanding what the hell these people are complaining about, they have everything I've ever wanted. These past few weeks have certainly felt like that, and I'm sick of it.
Well, you could go with the easy trust me bro approach, however numerically Endwalker has the both the lowest new player retention and the highest veteran player stagnation. According to Lucky Bancho's census, active players is currently lower than any point in Shadowbringers. While Endwalker is the biggest total playerbase the game has ever seen, it is also the lowest player activity the playerbase has ever seen.
The reason people might be "overblowing" this situation is because like many things with Endwalker, this is a first. This is the first time the game has been in a YoY decline when measuring against expansions. Where previous expansions you would only see 2-4% stagnation, you currently see 20-25% stagnation.
And the videos about the player count drop. As if there aren't a million good games to play this year. As if WoW didn't release its best expansion in like a decade. As if gw2 didn't release an expansion. I could seriously just keep going. This is a slow period for content, while the larger gaming sphere is absolutely booming with things to do. The game is FINE. It's not DYING. Endwalker is F I N E as an expansion. Just because the relic weapons aren't asking you to do 5 million backflips in random endwalker content doesn't mean there's nothing to do somewhere.
Also: if there IS nothing to do for you, and you've spent like 20,000 hours in the game, and you immediately burn all content as it's released, you should find something else to do. That's not a problem with the game.
I think the complains i've seen about endwalker are completely fair. I love this game, ive been playing it for 2 years and did almost everything. My opinion would be the same if i played multiple expansions on content and all i got every 3-4 months was 2 hours of msq and then i would need to wait another 3 to 4 months (of course, im not including raids in even patches, because that extends the time i spend in the game and i really enjoy it, but going back to odd number patches like 6.1 and now the upcoming 6.5 what is there to do, besides a day of new quests?). I know people didnt complain as much or at all in SHB or SB because they had eureka and bozja (even with all their issues, they were great time killers). I don't know, personally i dont think this is a "ff players always cryin" situation, but rather a reality. I have 0 reason to do criterion, and all i do is log in once a week to do unreal then play another game. And i dont wanna just play once a week, i dont think its fair to expect me to pay a montly sub just to do that with the excuse of "yoshida wants you to take your time" (and im def not clearing ultimates or savage for the 40th time just for the sake of it). I think this isn't a dev fault, im willing to believe in them because all the content they put out is amazing in my eyes, i feel like this is more a of a budget and team size issue
First of all, how condescending can a single person be? Second, I could literally give less shits about there not being any content to do, but I've got a mansion since HW and I'm forced to stay subbed so I don't lose it. So yes, even if I unsub every other month I'm still salty there's nothing to do except for no-lifing some obscure ass achievements while we wait for the next xpansion. There's no "new" grindable content. You might enjoy rerunning the deep dungeon 100 times for your audience but the average player doesn't. I've farmed my Savage BiS on various classes, cleared my ultimates and farmed the weapons, heck I even finished the last pvp pass. There's no old content for me to still do. I rerun stuff for FC mates but that's also just fun if you do it so many times. I'm absolutely bored. There's nothing to do but I'm forced to sub so I don't lose my house.
This whole discussion wouldn't even be happening if they didn't force us to pay 80 bucks or so a year to keep our digital house.
Peopel scared about players leavign FFXIV.. kinda dont udnerstand ffxiv. isnt the game made in such a way that u can leave and join whenever u want and nto really miss out? theyve stated multiple times if we want to take a break fromt eh game we shoudl take a break.
Someone who played since Stormblood, I can actually say, the fuck you all complaining about? I had a blast playing the game, I enjoyed Endwalker, sure the story might not have been best but I enjoyed it regardless and know its preparing for future content and storylines to be setup for future, they just ended a saga and they have to set in roots for future plots. A 4 month window is no content drought, ask WoW players they had to wait way longer on average. You all have a shit ton of things to do you all just sit in limsa all day complaining I know cause I seen plenty of you. Those of us who do Savage and Ultimates. Of course there less savage raiding going on now. Majority of people already got their geared and taking breaks. Hell I even finished another ultimate recently and am taking a small break because we all need a break once in awhile. Still I know that when I am ready to return from my break there still plenty of content for me to do. There still some Ultimates left for me too. Maybe I do relic quests from Stormblood. Who knows.
The crazy thing is the devs have solved almost all the battle problems the game has for years. 2 minute windows burst balance, Living dead, paladin rework, class balance, boss hitbox, raid mechanic icons, PvP rework, new pvp mode and abilities, massive healer AOE+QOL. Added lots of accessible content in Endwalker, even solo content, relic is easy to get, no massive grinds. Everything is accessible and as a consequence, drama free which is…boring for content creators who thrive off drama, including game forums and gaming news media. They'll be plenty to talk about at the next expansion and I guarantee there is still plenty to do for most.
Random new person to your channel/video. But, yeah, you're right. Been with 14 since just about the start of HW, and boy o' boy it's always some form of cognitive dissonance. The problem with some people is they have a strong attachment to the game, and to be honest, that's not a "bad" thing. However, this MMO, the game they are playing is lead by a director who painstakingly reminds people, that the moment you do not enjoy it, get bored of it, whatever, you may and SHOULD play another game. Come with a fresh perspective, become reenergized and wanting. Another Bozja/Eureka wouldn't solve their issues. And to be fair, as someone that's grinded every relic save for Eureka I despise the zones. A healthy mix between past and present relic grinds is probably the best way to go if they intend for this game to another decade. And using criterions and tweaking those is just as if not more important for western audiences because a lot of popular content, IE: WoW's mythic + dungeons are 4 man content.
All in all, they have to diverge a bit from what "kinda" works. They're planning the long haul for this game, and if you pigeonhole yourself into the slave treadmill bozja/eureka content then you won't retain for long. I can certainly say, 5 years from now, I surely hope Bozja and Eureka don't somehow seem more desolate than now. Otherwise, that content- the relics are more lost than ARR relics.
I agree. It's the youtubers, streamers, and content creators fishing with their clickbait titles "FFXIV is dying!"
IMHO, I'm sick of hearing it.
There is some legit criticism, granted, but claiming "FFXIV/Endwalker lacking content" isn't one of them. There are so many things to do in FFXIV but the people who claim 'that there is a content drought' or 'there isn't anything to do' are either very picky about what they want to do or of the minority where they have kept up with the game for several years and have actually done everything.
Can you imagine these kind of people? It's like someone going to eat an McDonald's and complaining that they don't serve Sushi there.
I deeply appreciate this video and i couldn't agree more.
Majority are crying bloody murder about FFXIV dying or people leaving as if that is the end of everything. Heck, most of them haven't even done the vast amount of content in the game. I have played for close to 10 years and i never been worried. during ARR and HW, people have been still enjoying themselves and each other's company regardless of the content. Diadem, the large scale instance during that time, was "flop" to so many but i still enjoyed it because i was with others, just doing adventure things. Even after that, people still had things to do and content to enjoy! The Devs even tried their best to make Diadem work until it worked nicely into The Firmament as a large gathering instance and people liked it a lot. Who would of guessed that.
But back to Endwalker: Many are only crying out about this and that because some skip many things to do, or don't know when to take a break, or even stay level headed about it. They can't control themselves when it comes to being needy or nit-picky about what they want or feel that "makes the game better." but another good number of those crying out are usually just joining their favorite content creators/friends on this silly train. Endwalker is only adding more to the game in general. its never meant to be better than the last expansion or whatever people want to think.
another half are upset because their friends are all playing other games and/or burnt out. Most are bored of the content and the rewards but don't focus on the fun or the experience of such content, but instead they think about only the rewards more than anything.
The Truth is that games (including MMOs) are made for fun, and not everyone is a MMO person. Some are starting to realize this and are rightfully leaving to go enjoy something which is completely fine. Some don't see Fun the same way and usually just want the BiS gear, the Ultimate/Rare titles, and anything to make them feel powerful, cool, etc. Then they bow out or stick around to complain about how the game has nothing to do.
Nothing will be perfectly balanced nor without flaws. Even if one or many problem(s) or issues is fixed, people will just point out and complain about another issue/flaw that doesn't even matter.
The Main issue is the players not knowing how to be calm and at least fully reasonable with many of their gripes. a gentle reminder or even letting the Devs do their thing without pulling out pitchforks and torches would be much welcomed.
Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.
the game has still so much to do.. albeit somewhat boring at times (*cough* arr relics) but hey, if you feel tired of the game and dont find anything fun to do, go elsewhere. breathe, its ok to get bored. we're 1 patch away from xpacc.. its normal that its boring.
Truly incredible the lengths people will go to defend a multi million dollar company from improving their game. Crazy how you all think that its fine to charge $13 a month because there's a ton of old content you can do AS IF this isn't a mmorpg where the devs have to provide new content that LASTS, 4 months a patch and the new content they release lasts a week, thats laughably bad. There's no excuse anymore, ShB had more content during a pandemic, EW took the longest to release and everything in it has been rushed, the story was rushed (literally admitted by the devs that Garlemald was meant to be its own story but they had to stitch it together with EW which completely ruined Garlemald), the new content has no rewards, no incentive to replay and lasts a week at best, they added 2 extra weeks a patch but didn't show anything for it, we actually got less content for some reason lol. "oh but yoshi p cried on stream for us, you should play other games" holy shit what insufferable comments, there is nothing wrong with WANTING TO PLAY THIS GAME, there is nothing wrong with being angry at the devs for not giving players a reason to play this game, stop being weird and shielding the devs from valid criticism, we complain because we care.
Let's be fair, that person had a ton of problem in her personal life in the last 2 years and let it affect how she feel about the game, that already happened to me with another game/situations, her social bubble followed her to the other games or they are just playing another games that's come out this year and we got alot to play.
WTF? People did not said such things during ShB end cycle xD In fact it was during ShB's drought era when the game was more alive than ever thanks to the WoW exile xD Is everything gonna be fine? Of course it's going to be fine. Is Endwalker the worst expansion so far? Of course it is. Trying to excuse mediocrity will lead us nowhere. We are paying a service and they need to do better.
I honestly am surprised that FFXIV streamers haven't learned the same lesson several WoW streamers did (Asmon and Preach for example) when they jumped to FFXIV: as long as you are entertaining its ok to jump from game to game and retain an audience.
Problem is I think people like Zepla and Xeems can't diversify like that because their personalities aren't strong enough to carry them through content not related to FFXIV.
Hence why they complain. Because they really don't know what they want and they are afraid of losing a revenue stream if they jump to other games.
Very true, right now I'm too busy trying to get all my splendorous tools and working on my house, but I just came back a couple weeks ago from a very long break playing elden ring, I played that game for about 1700 hours lol doing coop, invasion, coliseum duels and making builds.. but I do understand why most people are complaining, this is an MMO at the end of the day and social interaction is a big part of the game, right now I'm the only person in my fc playing the game and it can feel lonely and I'm pretty sure some of my friends felt that way when I left to play elden ring. We do need some type of system or content to keep us playing more often and the new stuffs we are getting can be done in one or two days and that's not ok for a subscription MMO game
Problem with endwalker is it finished the arc and the patch cycles have been boring when they usually have cliffhangers. The story is gone zero golbez and zeromus isn’t enough to keep my interested to play. Dawn trail doesn’t look that interesting either unless they aren’t showing myrcedia yet.
Thanks for this thoughtful discussion! This is to some extent a content creator driven issue. Zepla spoke about this recently when she distinguished between what players need and what content creators need: She said that players like and appreciate the lack of FOMO. But as a content creator she feels pressured to produce a stream of new or replayable content. She herself sets these two things in opposition and I think she's correct. Even if one were to share some of her issues with the game, the needs of content creators who do this as a living do not align with the needs of players. The game was deliberately designed not to give us this and some of us are still here after years because it does not and likely never will. Edit: spelling
" During ENDWALKER ive completed 2 ultimates from Stormblood, All of Eureka, Bozja/Tribes, POTD, ARR Relics " – This is the bulk of the issue people have though. None of that is the current EXPANSION content. This whole saying people have " well Yoshi P says go play something else " is such a cop out. If you're having fun in the game thats great, but there does need to be some changes made for the future and im sorry but the 4 month patch cycle feels so awful. People should absolutely be playing other stuff as i have been, but i do miss doing fresh stuff with everyone together.
The trend of all these people making videos like Endwalker sucks and its the death of FF sure is nonsense, but i do hope we get some fresh stuff in 7.0 (or even before then but i very much doubt that now) For a game that has a subscription to play the content just doesnt last or lacks replay ability. Im casual and i log in to do my island, do some hunt trains to cap weekly tomes, talk to some FC people (though we have a discord so i dont really need to be in-game for that), then log out.
Yes everything is going to be okay, the game is not dying. I'm genuinely very glad you're having fun, and that there are lots of players like you having fun, that's awesome.
On a completely seperate note, I have not enjoyed Endwalker patch as much as I enjoyed Stormblood, or Shadowbringers patch, partially due to the lack of goals. I have beaten all the raids, they were fantastic, but so were Stormblood's and Shadowbringers'. The surrounding content has been stellar quality-wise imo, my only problem is that the game has felt quite lonely community-wise due to a lack of people working towards a common goal. I have met fewer new people during Endwalker patch than any other point in the game's history, which is strange considering how the player count keeps rising. The people who I already know and talk to in-game are online much less frequently. The lack of an area like Bozja, or a common goal like a relic grind mean there's less sense of community now than there has ever been.
That's all. I love FFXIV, and I love the Endwalker content (mostly, fuck Island Sanctuary). Its just feelin' a little lonely for me and the people I know. Our experiences don't invalidate each others', and i'm glad lots of people like you, and here in the comments are still having a great time 😀
Whilst the reaction may be spiralling a little bit too much as things tend to do on the internet, I feel like there are a good chunk of players who are just happy to hear their opinions voiced (instead of being told to go play a different game…). Feedback is how things get improved after all, and if people genuinely feel like Endwalker patch is lacking in certain areas, then voicing their concerns is the best way to resolve it. I am playing other games, and i'm playing other games because Endwalker patch feels lonely and in some places, slightly underwhelming. I'm voicing my concerns about such things because I would like Dawntrail to be better, not because I'm sitting in Limsa all day with nothing to do being bored haha.
Anyways, thank you for your opinion, I don't want to detract from it at all, I would just like to say that not everyone voicing problems with Endwalker is a sheep following a hype-train of doom and gloom, I just want the game I love to be better next expac, and am voicing my opinions about how that might be acheived, the same thing I do with my concerns every expac! I just happen to be a little let down by this one compared to the past, that's all. 🙂
I don't know if you've watched these videos till the end but let me summarize it for you. There are 2 main problems. 1st lack of content, we're getting just a few hours of content every 4 month, and while some of that content supposed to be repeatable we don't have much reason to do it or even if you do it for glam or anything else it could be just boring because of how casual and slow some content is for explample content such as dungeons or alliance raids. I remember dungeons from classic wow where every dungeon is a unique andventure, you go there and you have to think which mobs you can pull, which not, discussing with you team things like "hey do we go that room, do someone needs loot from there? do someone needs to kill these mobs for quest no? then let's skip them. oh you have a key? let's use a shortcut!" in ffxiv it's just braindead wall2wall pulls, which are a lot of fun but only in a low level dungeons where you can actually pull almost whole dungeon.
And that exaple with wow actually explains 2nd problem which is lack of mmo feeling. The peak of ffxiv communication is when people decide their role positions in raids, I don't even see macros very often this tier. You can do most of the content solo and even if you play with real people it's still feels like solo expierence, but I came for a mmo, the game being advertised as a mmo and no I'm not going to do rp for that feeling, hunts or old content isn't enough and no I don't want to play other games.
Devs being respectful of our time? More like being good at making excuses. How are savage or ultimate raids are being respectful of your time? Do you get every clear on 1st pull, well I highly doubt most people do. Do you realise how much time it takes to lvl up an alt and gear it, which you have to do if you don't want to spend eternity waiting for pf to fill? How is that being respectful of your time? How is getting pteranodon mount or clearing The Hidden Canals of Uznair 20 times being respectful of your time? You can say that conent is only for hardcore players, but guess what not everyone is even going to lvl up an alt job, so what devs should delete all the other jobs?
Midcore players are left behind this expansion and ffxiv just became too casual, too convenient, teleporting from one aetheryte to another I don't even remember the world much, everyone have the same power lvl, you get your ultimate weapon and you throw it away next patch cause the crafted one is more powerful, if the devs are so respectful of our time that they make the ultimate weapons useless so that only some casuals could catch up, maybe they can be even more respectful and and add echo on the day of tier release, or maybe they should add special tokens which you can get by wiping so that if you're unlucky with your pf teammates you could still get rewards?
You say "maybe you've already completed everything in this game so go play other game". By that logic why would devs even go for Danwtrail? The game have enough content already so leave it as it is. But why are they adding more content to the game? Cause people want to play ffxiv and not the other games it's that simple. If we say we wanna grind, we wanna grind, maybe I've already played every other major game this year? What now, should I go touch some grass? No I want to play ffxiv, but there is no content, at least that I'm interested in, and I can only cope for Dawntrail to give me some more reasons to stay subbed cause I love final fantasy and I want it to be my main game.
I think devs should leave old content for casuals and make current content harder and grindy. I don't see a problem, devs are being rescpectful of our time so casual can come back a few years later when that content will be casual, it's the same thing as unsub and then catch up. Devs rn are forcing everyone into casual content leaving no options and this should be changed.
ahhhh, this is such soothing music to my ears; THANK YOU 🎉
So very very tired of the Doom And Gloom recently. Like sure, they do have some valid points; but the rhetoric they're pushing is subjective at best, and downright false at worst; "The devs don't care" / "EW is the worst ever" / "the game is dying" / etcetc
A game isn't gonna cater to you 100% of the time, especially not an MMO with such a varied audience. They're always gonna be experimenting. Nor is it reasonable to expect a single title to keep you invested 100% of the time either. you WILL eventually run out of stuff to do, and that's not a failing on the company's part. Games take longer to make than they do to play — it just means you're all caught up.
It's time to play something else for a while 🤷♂️ i know i will~
The like to dislike ratio on this makes me think of the Eric Andre Show quote, "Why are you booing me? I'm right!"
People are really over exaggerating the game's current state. Take it from someone who's been playing since 2014: This happens every patch cycle. People binge the game, catch up, burn themselves out, and stop playing while they wait for new content. A lot of the streamers who are instigating this panic started around 5.3~5.4 during the WoW refugee surge, so this is really the first time they're experiencing this.

Thankyou for this lmao ugh its been drivin me nuts community gunna kill its own game. Im right there with you champ its about setting goals
Jesus Christ, finally someone said this
cope harder. EW is trash and ffxiv been going downhill since Stormblood.
xiv community trying to not cry about something for a week challenge
ty finally a sane person who isnt trying to cry about the game always
WoW and other MMOs that utilize fomo tactics to keep subs rolling have absolutely brainrotted a ton of the userbase. These people with semi-liquified brains cannot comprehend the idea that you play an MMO for a period, then leave and come back when more content releases.
SE should just upright copy Mythic+ from WoW, I dont care how much everyone hates WoW, It's good fucking content and very rewarding.
A positive video? A shame cause that means this video won't get very popular.
It's almost like hating on something is an easy way to get clicks.
Thank you. First video to speak out of logic and not feelings. I too am tired of content creators saying things just for money.
My kittens are calm. Lol Thank you for sharing! I love the game and enjoying my time with it too at a chill pace. ^-^
Zepla: Trying to give constructive criticism about the game.
The ffxiv community: “And I took that personally”
This is the most braindead drooling take I've heard today 😊
sure but at the same time people are allowed to be dissatisfied with the game
But back to Endwalker:
Many are only crying out about this and that because some skip many things to do, or don't know when to take a break, or even stay level headed about it. They can't control themselves when it comes to being needy or nit-picky about what they want or feel that "makes the game better."
but another good number of those crying out are usually just joining their favorite content creators/friends on this silly train.
I like how people say FFXIV is dying and losing players when in reality, it's Baldur's Gate, Armoured core and plenty of other games out there!!!
Oh god thank you for this video
the game has still so much to do.. albeit somewhat boring at times (*cough* arr relics) but hey, if you feel tired of the game and dont find anything fun to do, go elsewhere. breathe, its ok to get bored. we're 1 patch away from xpacc.. its normal that its boring.
This is actually a very creepy video
Let's be fair, that person had a ton of problem in her personal life in the last 2 years and let it affect how she feel about the game, that already happened to me with another game/situations, her social bubble followed her to the other games or they are just playing another games that's come out this year and we got alot to play.
WTF? People did not said such things during ShB end cycle xD In fact it was during ShB's drought era when the game was more alive than ever thanks to the WoW exile xD
Is everything gonna be fine?
Edit: spelling
ffxiv doesn't 'respect your time', lol. have you seen the rewards for criterion dungeons? XDD yeah respects tiMe omegaLUL
