  1. I dont think the unreals are necessarily harder than current EX – tier fights, but the fight designs have changed a LOT. Swapping between say, Shiva Unreal and Seat of Sacrifice EX was jarring sometimes.

    (I've been playing since ARR; I did a lot of the now-unreal fights when they were current EX content. I am stoked for UU)

  2. FF14: "Look at our 6.1 patch!" — Shows everyone dozens of new additions coming in, with hours upon hours of gameplay and days upon days of extracurricular activities —
    EA/BIOWARE for SWTOR: "Look at our brand new expansion, Legacy of the Sith!" — Provides 2 hours of story, hundreds of bugs, and nothing afterwards —

  3. Myths of the realm is not the first 14 original alliance raid series. The Shadows of Mach were in Heavensward covering elements of the war between Mach and the other ancient people's of Eorzea and how Mach dabbled with the void and high level voidsent like Diabolos/Diablo or whatever his name at that point in the story is

  4. The Unreal fights are identical to their Extreme versions back at the original level. The only difference is the numbers are tuned for level 90 and outgearing them is basically impossible since they have a very tight iLevel restriction – as a rule they're generally somewhat simpler than modern Extremes by virtue of having older mechanics and are a good way for people scared of Extremes to get their feet wet.

  5. I just finished pugging UWU via the party finder. it took 2 weeks and i'm almost on crystal. I'm by no means someone who picks up mechanics easily, being newer to the game, with this savage tier being my first raid tier. If i can do it, anyone can!

  6. Thing about the checkmark add-on. The add-on makers have admitted the only reason they can do the thing that the devs say are impossible is cause they're breaking coding best practices to apply things out of engine in a way that is in no way backwards applicable… Though it's not unlikely that the devs actually look at them for ideas of how it might work. And the devs are aware they exist.

  7. Chocobo GP is SquareEnix's latest "live service (nostalgia) game that you have to pay full box price for," and it's really sad. There's an absolutely fun game in there, but then the monetization is just far too aggressive.

  8. Bellular trust me you can get an ultimate down with the right mentality it's all about prog, learning the mechanics and recruit reliable statics for your raid. Or you can just be Rich get a WF raider (Sfia), a raid guide maker (Mr Happy) and 3 of the top parsers (Rin,Woops,Llama) just joking btw
