  1. This blacklist system from hiding characters would be a blessing if it was also a option for optmization purposes, Populated areas reducing player count after a certain limit would be great to save performance.

  2. Why didnt the show a battle trailer though. Theyve always dropped thst st the last fanfest since heavensward. I remember playing since arr. Is there some strategic reason for not showing us the trailer now? Im just wondering

  3. Remember when characters also leaned slightly to the sides when running and making turns? Or when we had in-between animations for starting and stopping? That'd be nice to have back too, since they addressed some mounts looking weird when flying. Characters feel so stiff and weird since ARR. Glad to see that some of the green vaseline filter looks like it's gone, and glad aetherytes are shiny again, but I kinda wish they'd also added the subsurface scattering that crystals had in 1.0 too. It's kinda sad that we still can't quite match that quality entirely even 13 years later.

  4. Holy shit, Happy looks like a completely different person, lol.

I've taken breaks from the game here and there, but nice to see Happy still around. I used to follow this channel back in Heavensward. Good to have some classics.

  5. The blacklist feature is so huge for me and many others. Since the start of EW I have been dealing with a person in particular making alts to try and get in touch with me. I have sent numerous reports and to no avail, the person has remained untouched by the GM's. No one in my current friend groups know about this person, because I try my best to avoid drama where possible. I can now breathe a sigh of relief that this person can no longer bother me thanks to these changes.

  6. I am liking the black listing changes although I would prefer having a 100% chance of not being put into a duty with a black listed player. It's not too much of a problem though because as it stands right now, I rarely end up in duty finder with someone I have black listed. It has happened to me once in the 7 years I've played this game so it's really not that bad. It's just that I don't just black list people who are assholes, I will sometimes black list players who are not that great at playing their role and won't accept feedback. Especially if their mistakes are holding the entire group back from being able to progress through a dungeon. When I give feedback to a player, I try to be as polite and helpful as I can but some people get so offended. They don't like to accept that they're making mistakes. So black listing them greatly reduces the chances of ending up in a duty finder with them again. I'd rather not have to deal with those types of players.

  8. I don't think we saw FSR doing anything in the showcase – the resolution scaling was set to 100%, which would mean that neither FSR or DLSS have anything to upscale. There's no "off" option for some reason but 100% resolution is basically the same as "off". Would have been interesting to see what it looked like when the slider is changed.
