when you play scholar sometimes you feel cool for 5 seconds until a paladin uses clemency and excogitation gets wasted. and sometimes you have a co-healer who doesn’t think you actually heal so everything you do is over-healing and then you get accused of not helping with healing once you stop and then you gain a reputation of being a green dps. then you get memed on for 2 expansions for having a “fairy slave” which is whatever. then they take away ur dots and energy drain in shadowbringers but then they give it back so you don’t have to cope that long and the meme dies out quickly.
but THEN the endwalker job trailer comes out and scholar gets absolutely clowned on in comparison to the other jobs and now you’re a meme again and you can practically feel the judgment behind the cat girls in game whenever you’re in an instance and you are officially the LEAST flashy job in the entire game and not even the hot beautiful amazing level 90 artifact gear can alleviate the pain… at that rate, well
then it becomes suffering

At this point I only play Scholar for the nerd aesthetic and the free Summoner levels. Astro was way more my style, but since they're killing Nocturnal Sect I stopped leveling it…

I must be lucky because I've never had co SCH in DF parties. As a SCH main I did not even realize it was possible to get a 2nd SCH in the group.. 😀

Its funny… As a brand new player thats only been around for like 1 month… I love scholar… And using healing on Scholar… Probably because I love shield healing astetics more than anything in the game while also being easy and not… White Mage… shivers

It's ok, I'm used to being fucked in the ass, I main SHC and DRK in FFXIV, and Lance in Monster Hunter games.
Well I'm far better at being a scholar than a white mage. I'll tell you that much. Why? Because I don't have to lock on people to heal them and I less of an issue with mp. Which is more than I can say for WHM or AST.
