I take a bit of a leap and a jump here and offer my 5 predictions from now until 7.0 in FFXIV. How many of these can you get behind? Am I totally off base? Please let me know in the comments. This is a spoilers okay zone, so go nuts!
Could I be right with any of these? I tried to give it as much thought as possible over the last week or so, and I keep coming back to these 5 things. Not mentioned here is the connection between ourselves and Azem… I’m certain we’re going to be becoming more in touch with our inner selves!

would be fun if they add more to the free trial, e.g next expansion maybe? or at least add pvp!
Having a fresh starting point for new players is sensible, and might be necessary at this point, but how would that work with the free trial?
Perhaps all the MSQ up to Endwalker would be truncated like ARR 2.0.
Also, since the writers chickend out of killing any one in Endwalker, if any one dies in 7.0, it will be a new character, not a scion.
One thing we know for sure, Y'shtola will appear to die and then make a miraculous recovery
I have a feeling Zero will die because of " Zeromagus" and once she's free.. it turns out she's a shard of Azem and rejoins the WoL . Then the WoL gets stronger.
I’m excited to see the new villains going into 7.0 and beyond. All of the old long term villains (Garleans, Ascians, Allag) and their story threads are wrapped up. 7.0 should see new villains and villainous factions making their debut.
The scions fight for hope and the future, and all of the villains from the past expansions fought for the past and their regrets/resentments. Going into the new saga, I hope that this dynamic changes and we now fight those with their own dreams for the future. And there is already hope for this with Golbez and his dreams of a new world for the voidsent.
Wild predictions for the new long term faction: a corporation. Or maybe a rising empire from another shard?
I feel like the setup from hades anout other shards, plus now our trying to gain the ability visit other shards, I'm predicting this arc may result in some kind of war between shards. It definitely seems like something large scale enough to make an arc.
I could definitely see a new starting point being added. With them giving you the codex in endwalker (at a point where you probably already know all the info in it) it felt like it's going to be a QRD for people who might start with 7.0.
Sorry, but Wedge completely missed his chance with Tataru. She is way out of his league now!
