  1. Sadge canceled the initial ascend due to a hard cast and was tethered by behamut exactly 8 seconds after . That would have been the clutch revive. There could have been a chance T_T

  2. Can I just state that the healer is trying to be on his good side, because when you're the only healer left, you don't focus the dead tank, you focus the dead healer for some backup.

  3. this is one of my favorite fights in this game. The story, music, visuals, everything. It's honestly a shame not that many people have gotten to experience this in it's entirety. I just love how the devs sync up the music with whats happening on screen. It's not just a static BGM running throughout the fight, it changes as the fight progresses, it shows how much they care about the music, and how much it can affect the mood of a battle. They don't just do this with Bahamut too, they do it a lot with pretty much every trial and raid that's after 2.1

  4. Darrowshire Vanilla WoW is releasing 30th July with patch progression, updated pvp system with no honor decay, no world buffs in raids, zero tolerance for botting and much more. 3800+ discord members and rising.

  5. It might look like they weren't focusing, but trust me when I say that Sadge Main was doing their absolute best. Final Coil is a level 50 raid, meaning most players have their levels cut in half and half of their tool kit is locked down for the duration of the fight. The fact that they managed to last that long is a testament to the healers doing their damnedest to keep everyone alive.

  6. They went absolutely all out for this fight. I can remember when me and my friend did it unsynched during stormblood. We were kind of making fun of it, one shotting the adds, having fun, but kind of at the contents expense. Then the transition to Teraflare happened, with the music reaching it's height and the entire screen turning into a fiery maelstrom. Both of us were stopped dead in our tracks, completely astounded by the moment. I'm pretty sure that moment has a bit of magic for everyone who reaches it for the first time.

  7. The mechanics on this fight are on the easier side for the XIV raid bosses overall, but it's so fucking long and it's a constant healing check when you're trying to progress just to see new mechanics. At least it is when the whole party is new.

  8. Seeing a lot of people riffing on the healers here.

It's a lot more difficult when you're doing this synched as opposed to unsynched, and particularly if you're doing it on minimum ilevel setting, which is what Asmon's been doing a lot from what I've heard. Heal numbers go through the floor, your kit is cut in half, mp-saving traits aren't active.
White Mage doesn't have Thin Air, Astro doesn't have Hyper Lightspeed trait, Scholar doesn't have Indom, Excog or Deployment.
And on top of that they had a newbie to FFXIV who is still getting used to his kit and the need to keep cooldowns rolling and use the big ones for tank busters. They did pretty damned well!
