  1. The first time i watched the vid of misshapen saying about guides and how stuff is easy etc.. i thought " oh wow he must be a high end parser that has good logs "… nope he's average samurai at best on logs, like c'mon bro atleast put in homework yourself before making videos bitching about others.

  2. cries in Heavensward Astrologian which is still the most interesting class I've ever played. This monstrosity that exists today is but a shell of its true form.

  3. I don't see what the hang up is about using other content creators for views, isn't that like the 'job' description? When you order at a restaurant do you feel bad for being hungry? Collaborating doesn't need to be some emotionally involved process, it can be purely transactional and you can still get more out it like maybe even enjoying the process

    It really isn't that deep

  4. I've not played Endwalker yet but jobs like Ninja were resigned slightly to remove some bloat in their rotations, it happens incrementally as part of job rework. Summoner was one of the most button intensive jobs and they resigned it completely. I actually want to level summoner now where previously I felt it was a chore and I've done current tier savage before. You can choose your own difficulty somewhat by simply switching to a more challenging job. Not everyone will find the same job hard either.

  5. Imagine being such a pagro Mary to people bringing attention to your channel as if react content hasnt existed for years now. He seemed fine, like a likeable ahole before the spiel at the end just hung up on it. Dude just seems like a piss baby the way he ended his video too.

  6. I can understand having the classes be fundamentally different but then that means one class is probably going to be alot better or have a tool kit that is more deseriable for a certain piece of end game content which will lead to people not getting invited to the raid/pvp based on their class. Unfortunately most people aren't willing to make the content harder to bring along a good player unless they know them. Homogenizing classes was done to lessen this and unfortunately losing these vastly different playstyles is a side effect of that.

  7. Is it just me or does it seem like exactly same thing that happened to Cataclysm and further. Classes got dumbed down, homogenized, maybe content got harder but to this day wotlk class identity feels very much superior to this day.

  8. Classes losing flavour in gameplay is an issue that unfortunately doesn't get talked about a lot. A couple long time Rogue friends of mine quit in Shadowlands because Rogue in PvP is barely punishing anymore when you screw up. Stuff such as stealth shield, subterfuge, frequent access to dance, close to no energy management (symbols of death, energy regen on dance and free cheap shot every dance) and not needing to get to 5 combo points because of echoing reprimand were some of the final drops in the bucket of issues they had. Personally, I played Paladin the most, and I've gotten to the point with my Paladin where I almost deleted it recently due to how dysfunctional and flavorless the class became.

  9. One problem I have in FF14 is the combo system. it's not hard to press 1 (2seconds) 2 (2 seconds) 3(2seconds) 1 (2 seconds) and repeat. All it does it take up hotkeys. I find myself creating bullshit macros to reduce button creep. This attack works off of the GCD? I guess I'm going to write into literally all my macros.

  10. difficulty in ff14 is like politeness but reverse. ff14 is not used to the toxicity of other mmos because they aren't used to the complexities of other mmos.

  11. I disagree. A class/spec being harder to play doesn't necessarily mean the class/spec needs to have a "reward" in the form of higher output.
The reward can be inherent to the class. Like how I just like the theme of the class or like how the abilities flow.
I don't care what the meters look like. The boss dies anyways. Being on par with everyone else despite you needing to work harder is just a fact of life. Not all aspects of life are fair.

  12. What he's saying about samurai, is similar to my complaint about shadow bringers astro. How they took out the fun by changing the unique buffs to the braindead version of every single card pull just gives damage. I maintain the removal of tp was one of squares biggest mistakes.
