As wow hasn't updated the graphics in what seems like forever. The graphics are so dated, it's becoming very obvious they aren't able to keep up.

Those pics are so disingenuous, the one on the left doesn't even have a background. If people want improved graphics just get Gshade, it's a much bigger difference than whatever you see here.

The first and the third ones weren't really different, it was only the background that made the right pictures seem better but there was absolutely no significant difference.

there are differences, of courses sometimes more subtle, but when you literally see the big picture and are ingame, it's a huge huge difference
Yes, Asmongold's head will now be shinier than ever from being bald like Saitama with these new graphical update. Don't forget the Sunday sales for grocery too.
I'd be much happier if I could actually play the game. Still on free trial, their website is still a mess and I can't find a proper way to download it. The only link that's up directs to an old ass version of the game that still requires a serial code to be entered.
These updates are expected in 7.0. 2 years from now at minimum.

I just realised – the changes are probably not to models but to textures and lighting… and if so they'll get a wide change for little work. I like it

I’m still using the same pc from when I played 1.0. Gonna have to get a new one if they updating the graphics, cus atm it takes me a minute to zone every time I teleport. When I log into the game my screens in the ground for about 30 seconds, I also can’t play ninja cus I lag on the jutsus XD
When big streamer say stuff about games they a lot of developers listen we all know se watches his streams
It looks a little bit uncanny to me for some reason but I have faith that in action it will look good
This isn't even the final graphics update planned, either. They plan on taking it further than this, which I'm excited for.
really looking forward to the high rez hair. Currently some hair styles are so low rez I can't bare to use them

I wouldn’t say the new graphics are better. Only that they’re more defined.
One of the big turn offs for me when I played Black Desert was its glossy animation. I hope in FF14 they make these graphics optional.
Better title: Asmongold pretends to be impressed by FF graphical update to keep the obsessive and angry fandom off his back. Lets not pretend also that its misdirecting for them to show the old graphics with an imposed grey background as opposed to the new graphics with an actual world behind the character.
