30k+ people in wow classic, took 6 to 8 hours to login. And those queues were present after 2month after release. I would rather sit for 3-4 hours in queue in FF, than touching wow again.

Ugh, this is exactly what's happening with me. My queue in FF is over 5k – so i just stopped and started playing SoM
Maybe this was WoW's plan all along. Make people hate WoW so they migrate to another game, game gets so overpopulated that the ques can't handle everyone, and then knowing players have a addiction to mmos they return to WoW to show them that this is what happens when you migrate.

in Ragnarok, there's literally maybe 70 people in queue from 2am-10am but then every other hour of the day you're looking at 1.5k-4k peak. all in all, it isn't too bad
I have barely started Endwalker because I'm not prepared to wait current queue times.
