  1. tbh, Asian would not search 'FFXIV' or its full name in English, Chinese use Chinese, Japanese use Japanese, Korean use Korean. Taiwanese also use Chinese. I'm pretty sure FFXIV is more popular in JP than WOW. coz no one search in English in Japan, even a word simple as FFXIV. Even FF14 is more popular search than FFXIV in asian

  2. Honestly that was shocking a little bit.
I love WoW and play FF as well, but in the game feels completely the opposite. In game FF feels a LOT more "live" game, a bunch of people around.
And in WoW its feels less popular. But who knows maybe the Sharding do something wrong.
But before Asmon video i expect FF destroy WoW in this chart. And again im not an FF Andy, honestly i like wow waaaaay more than FF its just how i feel when i play.

  3. I swear google trend seems inconsistent no matter what you look at.

For some reason FFXIV, Final fantasy online, FF14 all have different number yields and double so if you go search term instead of online game.

  4. Can we all just like a game without bitching about who's game has a stronger player base? I play FF14. Love the game. But I got 0 problems with WoW. You all just sound like children at this point. Makes me sad…

  5. FFXIV blocked it's sales for a month cause of Endwalker Wow should have passed it. Let's see the next few months. Sorry I ain't going back to Wow no content and the lore sucks now.

  6. Currently playing FF but I'm seriously hoping Microsoft can do something to fix WoW. I would love for it to come back and be a good game again. Both games do different things better but right now WoW is just being destroyed with terrible design.

At this exact point in time FF is the better game overall IMO but only because WoW has sunk so low. Overall I feel like WoW has more potential when it's not being crapped on by the people in charge at Blizz. Plus if your main thing is PVP then FF ain't it.

  7. As someone who doesn't give a f about which game is the most popular I have to say the butthurtness of the chat was hilarious! "use this keyword instead", jeez. People really should stop having "liking a game" be their identity..

  8. I log in retail for daily callings just for gold, so i can keep my sub running for classic/TBC, and i pity all the people i see online there, especially the capitals like Oribos/Orgrimmar on Horde. You have to be on multiple tonnes copium to still play retail, let alone come back after a month or two break – true addicts running in a hamsterwheel. Even when i do log in, the game makes me depressed, Shadowlands feels like a turd wrapped in creppe paper.
