Ffxiv is garbage to the max. I’ve tried so hard to like it. I’ve played 3 separate accounts over the years lvl’d to around 50-60ish on several classes and it’s just a bad game. Great story lines but it’s so auto pilot it’s painful
ff14 sucks. this is probably one of the worst final fantasy games ive ever played.
That idle cinematic is showing the actual canonical ending to Final Fantasy 14s disastrous first launch. Once Square Enix realized how terrible the game was, they publicly apologized, and merged all the servers for a huge event showcasing the death of the world so they could start from scratch. Players who played the original version even got a unique character intro after joining the remake. I hope you'll be able to go back and just enjoy the game some time!

Azman FFXIV story was written and out well before WoW’s Cataclysm. Blizzard captured Square’s themes, stories and characters…

The opening cinematics, before creating a character, look pretty cool. However, in-game, I'm totally not impressed with the graphics, especially for being a new MMO. Also, the dialogue would make me want to hurl. OMG, let the man play LOL. Good luck, Asmongold. 👍

This game is junk, the level of security in setting up an account is like trying to break into fort Knox. Once you set you your account there is another level of security, which I was not warned about, one has to download an app to get a token key. Effectively to try the game you have to buy the whole game, so no free two weeks till you cough up the money Enix can bog off. I AM NOT WASTING MY TIME ON JUNK LIKE THIS.
