  1. The arcane mine mechanic is the one which make me realize how right is the person which say you just stand there and mechanic resolve by itself (+ match the picture).

I don't get it why this mechanic, the common strategy is using relative direction to fix the pattern. This just put additional layer of unnecessaries procedure (and complexity) let alone which mean you still need to learn 1 2 2 or 2 2 1 regardless unless you have static. What I mean with that, let's say the team choose 2 2 1, they will try to adjust this such that the mission tile always "their NE". Which equal to the 2 2 1 location can be on 4 direction. In the progression, every time I go with this party (majority pf use this), holy shit it takes more than 30 minutes (not counting run back, time to res; and that 30 minutes does not meant correct as 3 still have wrong adjustment) just to fix this problem and FYI, 3 of them has TOP or DSR weapon.

Meanwhile I had in 1 early party and I say the strategy, ok don't always push 2 2 1 or 1 2 2 formation fix, just see the missing tile on the north (as you always facing boss from back and boss will always jump or face north on there). See the missing tile there ? No ? Then do 2 2 1 or 1 2 2 on the south. If you see it on the north, then 1 2 2 or 2 2 1 in the north. 3, you will always on E W either on south or north without missing tile in your lane. The result ? This party correctly done the mechanic in 10 minutes (not counting run back, time to res; and that 10 minutes does not meant correct as 3 still have wrong adjust).

  2. very much appreciate a good comprehensive guide thats carefully made with thought behind it. too many people try to rush and be first, rather than be the best so they shit out an improvised 1 take voiceover of their cheesy 1st clears and call it a guide.

stuff like your guides are what the community needs, keep it up!

  3. Something that helped me a lot more than declaring relative south west for Arcane Mine, is saying:

Everyone converges on the blank tile. Facing into the rest of the tiles, 2s and 1s take left side, 3 takes right side. 2 can swap around based on the stacks.

When I wrote it like that, our party got it in 3 tries, the only issues being the rotation of the forward march 😀
