This may seem insignificant to most but they need to fix the drop rate for the starbird from Dead Ends dungeon. I have framed moofle tomes from that dungeon to the tune of at least 200 times and the bird dropped twice and of course I did not win the lot. RIDICULOUS!!!!

Can't wait for Freeukrea! I unlocked Eureka ages ago and only went there once and gave up on it because it was DEAD. I am not eager to go back and grind elemental levels so seeing a bunch of Free Trial players trying to take down Notoriouses without access to the marketboard for the shards needed for the special equipment is going to make grinding out my Dark Knight Eureka Relic so much more engaging! 😀

I had an incident in the burn with the last boss. So the healer died on the 1st adds mechanic… I'm glad they reworked it into something that's hopefully less atrocious for randoms.

I'm not at all surprised with no free Ultimates. I could see people rolling up free accounts to get to ultimate level to farm for the weapons and then just sell the account as a way to sell the weapons to people.
This is the change to alliance raids that the community has been asking for, but it's far from the silver bullet that will solve the issues the community has with the roulette. THAT change will be requiring people to do all of their alliance raids every patch. We're still going to have people going into roulette who only have CT unlocked, we're still going to get people jumping in who are doing CT for a specific purpose, and we're still going to have first-timers in CT because it's required for plot progression in HW. I think the community is very quickly going to discover that ilvl manipulation was far from the only or even the prevalent reason we ended up in those three raids.
Now, we're probably gonna see people who are only into the roulettes for the rewards dipping when they see a CT. Two steps forward, one step back.
RMT is also a big reason for no free ultimates. I imagine they were worried about people clearing, selling the trial account, and making another for no cost.
biggest W has to go to the item level restrictions for alliance raids, i'm sick and tired of doing Crystal Tower because of some clown equipping bad gear for it. (I'm ok if there's a sprout though, they have an actual reason to do Crystal Tower)

I've heard eureka already has a botting problem, hearing free eureka be mentioned makes me remember that and worry how much it may get worse.

I'm sure the discord will add a command for felicitous favors to fit those into the schedule in an optimal way, just like they already have commands to tell you what to make if you can't make specific items on the main agenda
The only thing I don't really like about the alliance raid changes is that new players can pretty easily get locked out of alliance raid roulette if they level up too much, but don't have the MSQ progress to be able to buy the gear required.
Im so hopeful that with the changes to alliance raid giving WAY more rewards and the item level requirement we will see around half the time non crystal tower raids. We will still see them a lot because of sprouts but im fine as long as its not 95/100 times. Also, personally, I think that the CT raids should be in MSQ roullete since its NECESSARY content but thats my hot take.
You say saved. At the same time the WT book now updates to replace things not unlocked. So while people COULD unlock everything, and have the roulette do everything, instead some folks are just going to not unlock the alliance roulettes, and we'll still end up in CT when one of them shows up.
Yeah Portraits should just stay the portrait no matter what even if you changed jobs or one piece of equipment. The point of it is to show off THAT portrait, not necessarily what I look like at the exact moment.

i think Ultimate raids is probably going to be added on free trial restriction.
i mean they’re adding it now, so people wont question once they added Shb and EW on free trial in the future.
I legit hope they'll start implementing more iLvL sync to more "heavy MSQ" related trials. Kinda bummer that some newer players couldn't experience the fights more to the fullest extent of it. I know we have option for the min iLvl when using party finder, but I feel like it was kinda… under-utilized and not many newer players even bother to check it out.

This was the nail on the coffin, this expansions patches were just as bad and boring as ARR patch cycle. I would argue it’s even worse because the amount of hairstyles,3 dungeons per patch, a new job ninja. Cmon this patch we got 2 old hairstyles for the new races, reskins of old mounts, all the gear outside the body looks identical.
Stop spoiling with miniature ! Stop disrespect player who don't want to be backsite!
The ultimate thing might be to stop people creating and selling free trial accounts with ultimate clears.

Any time I read the patch notes for XIV I am reminded of just how vast this game is and all the things that, in spite of playing almost every day, I will never even touch. It's just so much. Retainer ventures, collectibles, most crafting stuff, I'll just never get around to any of it. That's not a bad thing, I like how much the game always has going on. That's not to say that as a combat oriented player I feel we've lacked compared to ShB but yeah.
Had a friend that spent a lot of time in side content before progressing MSQ. She was getting 90 content on her Wonderous Tails despite the fact that she was still in Post Shadowbringers. Glad they changed that cause it was actually leading to her finding out about some raid bosses before doing the raid.
Now, they just need to make online store items account wide instead of single character. Or an online storage bank to transfer items from one character to another. Hopefully when cloud servers become a thing.

In 6.5, online additional item can be store at the Armoire, but it removes all dye, especially those pure white dye I purchased online will be gone too, So what's the point?
I feel the changes to alliance roulette won't actually make that much difference because most newer players don't even have raids unlocked other that CT. There doesn't appear to be a restriction to needing the raids unlocked for the level range you're at.
