If you already know about the game and just take this video as a joke, it's fine. But I find it frustrating that it's perpetuated some hate that is being happily taken up by newer players. I'm a Mentor myself, a genuine one, and it's so frustrating to constantly hear Mentor hate just because there are some folks who want the crown for the crown's sake.

Sorry to have to say this but that mod "Nekura" must be the person that got the most butthurt from this video. I can only assume he related too much with every word Misshapen said about either RPers or Mentors. He's probably one of the type of people that the "disclaimer" some videos have, to know it's just for fun, is for.

Ok its one way to destroy a community . One thing he dont say , Mentors are in all parts of this list from the bottom to the top. Its sad that new players complete ignore explains from mentors because of this video. In month we have the same garbage community like World of Warcraft.

Guess that puts me into the Glamour hierarchy. I've done Ultimate, Savage and Extreme JUST for getting glamour items. On occasion I've discovered some level 50 gear and weapons look better than top tier items with the right dyes. I've blown nearly 300,000,000 gil just for house/housing items and General Purpose dyes. Some of the top tier relics are even glamoured because the 535 looks worse than the previous ones, the MCH 535 for example looks just plain awful, while the Laws Order variant looks like something from the Trigun manga! I have capped Wolf Marks JUST to get a full Ladies Republican set. I race changed from hyur to aura just to be more aesthetically pleasing. I have a hotkey for trying on certain drops JUST for the off-chance that it would look better than my current glamour. Having even ONE misplaced glam makes me have a micro aggression.
