  1. Random thought of a non-raider about the orbs: could it be that the orbs not only track your position, but also your distance? And that at the moment of a sudden jerk that leaves you at a different distance than expected/anticipated, it overcompensates by swinging back a little?

  2. Best newbie tool to learn snapshotting, Titan ex landslides. Running into rocks hitting your face because the cast bar went off while you were out of the aoe is that first light bulb moment I had with this game.

  3. as an ex-wow player i figured out the snapshot crap very early on, because out of habit i was trying to dodge aoes at the last second and kept getting hit even though i wasnt in the area when the animation "hit". Wasnt hard to realize that your position is being snapshot when the boss cast bar ends not when the mechanic resolves through animation.

  4. Some people think Xeno shaved his head because he was balding. The real ones know that he was simply removing a barrier between his brain and the game.

  5. Animations are like the orange markers that only appear for half a second right as the mechanic goes off. They're there to tell you this is what you were supposed to do a few seconds ago, and it's too late to fix it.

  6. Got into savage right at the tail end for this fights tier and my group cleared everything up to it. We finally decided to go back to finish it and I won't be surprised if we so a sync/min ilvl clear before endwalker.

  7. Am new to ff14 and this is helpful, I do notice a lot of new players have 0 clue what's going on sometimes, like it's not hard if you see a circle around glowing orange or red, gtfo lol. If you see yourself doing 0 dmg to boss, find out why you're doing 0dmg.

  8. U believe some players who been playing a long time still thinks once the animation starts after snapshot, they will get hit by the mechanics.
