  1. As a new player who was really excited to come to a game with player housing from WoW, hearing it's so hard and expensive to get an actual house has really taken a lot of the wind out of my sails. I don't like the apartments or the company housing, and I feel like my dream of getting a house in Gridania will never come true. 🙁 I would be willing to pay insane amounts of money to Square-Enix on the mog station just to get a house I could be happy with, but even that isn't an option. It just feels so hopeless. I never would have started playing this game if I knew how oppressively exclusionary the housing availability is, but now I'm deep in Heavensward and I'm caught between how much I'm enjoying the story as if this were a single-player RPG, and how left out of my most desired MMO feature, housing, I feel as an MMO player.
