An important one for new players, NEVER click on links posted on the game's chat. There is a 99,9% chance thats a phishing link that will steal your account.
Even though I started playing this game a few months ago and have learned a lot of these things thru trial and error, this video was SUPER helpful and one of the better New Player Guides out there. Great job!
Good guide, to bad I cant play the game due to the terrible trash support they have, I played the beta yeara ago on ps3 or ps4 cant even recall, so 2 weeks ago i downloadwd the game on my ps5 to find it was already locked to that account that is not the same as the one i have now because back then there wasnt psn accounts on my country so you had to use a PSN for US to play. So i went to the website to activate the trial and I wasnt elegible because i already played the game on the beta, so i registered my current psn account and no issues but to my surprise you cant change ID on the game start screen, ao im stuck with that ID, and I have no idea if i would be even able to play if I purchase the endwalker dlc. I created tickets on the web page and no reply in 2 weeks , really lame cuz i wanted to play it
This was great! There was a lot of HUD stuff I haven't clued into and I'll have to definitely pay more attention to the blue ! when I get through the expansions. Gotta unlock me some stuff.
I've beaten shadowbringers and am currently all caught up. Yeah this'll be something good to watch while I eat

I feel that with FFXIV, all beginner's guide should start with: How to do "Mogstation (Savage)", considering how many people who wanted to sign up for the trial complained about it. I just helped a friend purchase the game (and use my referral code), and I have to say the process is not really intuitive, or the steps to explained well to you on the website.
