I'm really excited about the well pump. 😃
Imo the rattan bed is too big for being a hammok. It looks cozy at first glance but its too bulky with the wooden frame. Perfect for larger races and you could create a room with this particular theme to make it work… but you'd have to do a lot of planning ahead 🙂 The rattan partition is also very nice and I wanted to incorporate it in my house… sadly, the upper white part doesnt quite fit with what I had in mind 🙁 And the pump… havent yet tried that one. I think you dont see any water there because any risidual water would just seep into the rocky ground – which is why there are rocks to begin with (me thinks ^^° ).
The pump stones are to be supposed to be a better surface to hold and soak the spill water.
It's not supposed to have water, it's a pump you hold a bucket under and fill that and not a well you just scoop the water from.
So it makes perfect sense.
You don't want standing water in your pump area, will draw bugs 😀

Is the pump working backwards? Last time I used a water pump like this I could have sworn that when the handle went down is when the water was released.
