Some MSQ and Pandaemonium raid spoilers here and there. You have been warned, assuming you’re actually reading the description at least. Thanks for watching y’all. Should be more frequent uploads with the next Savage tier on the horizon, but don’t quote me on that.

All music used is composed by me. (Though there is an old remix of a Legend of Zelda song in there)
Final Fantasy XIV is owned and developed by Square Enix, which I am not associated with whatsoever. I’m just a silly catboy running around beating up raid bosses.

This is all great advice, especially for new statics. I hope lots of people see it and apply it to PF as well.
Learning each role was probably the fastest way I improved, and lead me to be a lot less salty when players in other roles made mistakes. Only thing I'd add is make sure when you go in with a group of friends/ static you are all on the same page with your expectations and goals. Misaligned desires is a big cause of static drama.
Ranged, don't be so far in the corner. You'll miss heals, buffs, and possibly even die because ain't nobody heading over to a stack marker further than max melee in a savage
This is a good video. Mindset is very important.
For me, it took me 80 hours to clear p3s back then. I felt autistic after l finally cleared it actually. So l quit raiding and went to pvp.
I don't know how much of a solution to the "Midcore" dilemma it is, but back in ShB my old static and I did Extreme Trials especially quickly jumping into Seat of Sacrifice to prep us for Eden. I think it worked well.
Doing it with people with same mindset, goal, experience is a lot better for me at least. Otherwise you'll only end up hating them.
This coming patch is the first time I've found a group of people willing to accept someone who has never touched current savage and extreme content so eagerly looking forward to how things turn out. This video is a great booster to lift up my mindset before going in headfirst to the harder content.
The best advice you can give is to tell people to just learn their rotations properly and then just go for it. People typically won't give you shit to your face for being bad at the game, mostly because they're afraid they will be reported and banned for it, but they sure as hell will privately resent you for it. Don't make people carry you and you'll have a good time raiding.
