Glad to see you made it through ARR. You were right about Rhitahtyn, he was the joke boss of the game. We used to troll new players, tell them it was massively complex, go over guides and nail the fight in thier heads only to then go kill him in less than a minute.
As for the challenging content, that is stuff you need to unlock. Some dungeons can be tough, sure, but they make them doable by everyone and moreso if they are MSQ. The hard stuff comes in when you unlock the savage and extreemes of those primals and trials, they amp the fights up more and more. Some get so wild that it takes skilled teams weeks to prog them. So keep a eye out for those too if you want a hard fight
