  1. It's been while since I've talked about Final Fantasy. But I felt like it was time to finally talk about Endwalker. I hope all of you enjoyed the video. Also what was your favorite moment or thing from Endwalker?

  2. Zenos was the only gripe I had with Endwalker. They simply gave the player too many reasons to dislike him, but not much room to forgive him. I'm perfectly okay to see the usual trope of a villain, who does genocide out of self-centered ideals, to be given a chance to right their wrongs. But that one scene which he took over my character's body, man that felt so invasive as hell. At the end of it, I couldn't bring myself to give him the friendly-rival dialogue at all. Personally, I find Endwalker needs to give Zenos needed more in-game development before the finale could unfold into the way it is. And the part where the Sharlayan admin ran up to tell them of a 'fellow associate of the Scions' seeking an audience, my first assumption to that mysterious figure was Gaius instead. Most people's reaction to Zeno's showing up was a surprise, but definitely not a pleasant one.

But huge props to the writers for maintaining small details in some cutscenes. There's no perfect candidate than Alisaie to school Zenos in that scene, because both Alisaie and Zenos are of the same : Both sought strength, but one did it for others while the other for himself.

  3. The only part of endwalker’s msq I didnt love was most of the parts in Garlemald. There were so many instances of the Garleans being assholes to the scions and everyone else that came to help. I know there is a point to be made about how propaganda essentially brainwashed the Garleans into having their current mindsets, but regardless it gave me little reason as a player to want to help them beyond “well I am the warrior of light so I guess I have to”
