1.0 was fun during the end. Yoshi P managed to turn FFXIV around around the half way point of 1.0. It was no where near what FFXIV is right now. Also it would never work as a classic server like WoW because most of the game was a culture back then and that culture will 100% not exist if they tried to bring it back.
I played it when it first came out. Still have the golden box and everything. The game was unplayable 😂. It actually made me give up on the FF franchise altogether. I wonder what it would have been like had I kept playing, but I was a young kid and there were plenty of other fish in the sea. I think Yoshida understands this very well, that some memories should remain as they are, just memories.
