  1. This is my first savage tier that im taking seriously, but i have cleared all extremes in SHB and first trial in EW. My only advice to newbies is to JUST DO IT and be patient with yourself and your teammates.

  2. I haven't joined you even though I'm on the discord just because I do feel that pressure, especially if I know I'm on stream. Maybe someday I'll get the nerve, but I wish you luck!

  3. Oh everyone usually wipes first time. So yeah! You're an average player.

I actually learned how to heal really really well from doing pug savage content as a healer.

  4. i feel the same about the watching a video beforehand to see mechanics, im still gonna die sometimes, but p2s looked IMPOSSIBLLY confusing on video but in the game its so easy

  6. Your willpower will be your basis on how well you do. Practice makes perfect, failure is part of winning, etc. There will always be resources to help you improve, especially with this community.

The biggest step is always to convince yourself to do the thing. In the end, it's a game. If you had fun, then it's a win even if you keep wiping.

  7. Thank you for sharing your experience. It will surely help newer players to get into savage <3 Congrats again on clearing P2S !
I was fortunate enough to have friends helped me last year with the Eden raids. Got to learn a lot from them. And I gotta say I've been itching to PF P2S but whenever I looked to the groups, it was pretty much just reclears… I'll get around to it eventually I guess. I miss having a group to raid with.

  8. As a very average player, you can only be "carried" so far. Sure your teammates might be able to pumpout the damage, but if you personally can't do the important mechs, it becomes a uphill battle for the team.

Just keep fighting! Took me at least a week to clear P1S and P2S each, then it took less than an hour to clear both yesterday. Looking forward to the eventual P3S clear hahaha

  9. Congratz on your kills. Dont be afraid on Savage and continue with it. You become better and better naturally. Not only on your Rotation but also on figuring Mechanics. The good Thing on FF14 is thst there are not that many new Mechanics. The Numbers in p2s in Example are already used in so many other fights so a experienced Player already knows on a Basic level what to do.

I really would love to help you out. Since my Static cleared on Week 1 next week is already our Last week to Raid. And even now i only log in for a Hour per Week and after that i do nothing the entire Time. But unfortunately i play on a differend DC.

  10. I was super lucky to get in my static. Some guy in our fc wanted to make a static and he asked me if I want to join. At that point I hadn't even done an extreme trial. After now 8 month we cleared some shadowbringer savages and Ultima Weapon Ultimate. Some people in the static have changed but the core is still the same. I think I would never have done the hard content on my own.

Just as reference. We cleared P1S and P2S in the first savage week. P3S took us much longer. I think we cleared it in the 4th week. But we played a little bit more in the first week.

  11. Such a wholesome video! My static takes turns shotcalling each fight, which makes it fun for each person to be able to understand the fights in different ways. Glad to see more people trying savage and also Crystal Datacenter Represent! Also love the 100 thieves sweater :3
