  1. Let me explain why Heaven On High is legitimately the hardest content in Final Fantasy XIV:
    It was designed as a 4 person dungeon that is almost like a rogue like, it has 100 randomized floors with different buffs or debuffs and it was never really intended to be solo'd but you CAN do it. One run can take up to 8 hours, especially in the later floors as you need the entire hour to clear not only mobs but also the very last boss and as you can tell they hit super hard. You can be screwed by RNG pretty badly and you need incredible awareness and quick on the fly thinking. The entire process was painful but god was it worth it in the end.

  7. That explains why I saw Voxer hanging out near HoH a few weeks back! I nabbed my lone hero title thanks to Angelus Demonus' streams too. Awesome to see him pop in to help you on that final set, that Odin at the end was clutch! Congrats!

  8. I hope the dd in Endwalker has an actual point like PotD has story content regarding a popular npc and a reference to the deaths of characters in HW but HoH is just like…ok we're here ig.

  9. Was just thinking of rewatching your old FFXIV to hype me up for the new expansion then this showed up! In all seriousness, I know you might not read this but your FFXIV content was a big factor of what got me to try the game, and now I have about 1100 hours in it, I love this game and thank you for partially introducing me to it!

  36. Reason that is, is because it's more RNG luck based on these clears. With Ultimate fights it's purely skill, how you execute the mechanics and meeting the dps checks. Ucob and Uwu dps checks are a joke but Perfect Alexander still holds strong. Having a personal mentor also seemed to help. Numerous people have expressed that this sort of content is Purely reliant on RNG.
