  1. The difference is night and day between this and when he played WoW.

Edit: Geez all I meant was he’s happier now then when he was playing WoW. Really didn’t need to have a full ass thread on my comment. 🤣

  2. Honestly, this game is for now the peak of mmorpg. At least for me.

If i ever feel burned out from soing the massive amount of content that exists i just follow yoshi-p's guideline and quit for a few weeks or months. Then i come back and enjoy the game again.

Its great that this philosophy is endorsed by the devs.

  3. I got really annoyed yesterday, when after 8 shuffles I still couldn't get a single line in the journal… then I realised my time would be much better and with more fur spend, if I just farmed Gold Saucer for a day, humiliating King Elmer in TT between Gates… I too am now a proud owner of the Regalia mount 😀

  4. This game is full of cringey weebs, ERP freaks and pedos. Just in one week I met so many weirdos in this game than I have ever come across in any other MMO. And I have been playing online games for over a decade now. But this community is just something else.

I was in novice network the other day hoping to learn about game but hey there was full on virtual sex going on in there.

  5. What I don't understand is why you guys didn't try out FF14 when we told you it was good back in late ARR, early HW. Or even during Stormblood. Or even when Shadowbringers was coming out. Was brand loyalty that much of a shackle for you guys?

  6. Wait until you figure out that you don't HAVE to do anything in this game. That everything will always be there for you to do it whenever you want. I tend to take monthly breaks and still easily catch up with all the content whenever i want, so it will never burn anyone out like WoW does 🙂
